"I guess you wouldn’t know about solis living underwater and all" he said as they sat on Melody's bed "well the story is that after the great king was murdered and the forgotten children went to their homes in that moment the world was silent, and in that moment the great mother goddess wept for the fallen children in that moment she took pity on them and as a sign of hope she gave each child the power of their home element, and in the sky she made the sun and moon dance and every year since then the sun and moon dance on that same day as a little thing to make sure we all still have hope that it will get better" he explained to her

"Wow, that sounds amazing" she smiled

"I think you'll like it" he laughed "now, I’m gonna go get a little more sleep, I’m just down the corridor if you want me okay" he told her so she nodded before he wondered off to his room Melody tried to rest but she found it very hard so she sighed getting up and leaving her room going down the corridor the next door not too far down the corridor the door was slightly open revealing Jamiey laid on his bed with a few bits of paper scattered about him "hey" she smiled quietly stepping in

"Oh hi Melody" he smiled looking up to see her

"What are you doing?" she asked moving to sit on his bed beside him

"oh nothing just doodling" he shrugged on the bits of paper he had around him where little flowers and trees all very pretty drawings Melody smiled flicking though some of them till she stopped one that obviously had much more work put in then just some little doodle it was a girl turning away from the page with long dark hair moving around the page as if in wind "she’s beautiful" Melody smiled "that’s amazing Jamiey" she smiled

"Thanks" he blushed

"Who is it?" she asked

"Well, it’s meant to be you, but I don’t think I did it very well" he sighed

"Its lovely Jamiey" she smiled

"Thank you Mel" he smiled Melody giggled at the nickname he had given her before it went quiet again "I uh I wanted to ask you something Mel?" he said

"What?" she asked him

"Why did you kiss me?" he asked her blushing like crazy

"I thought it would cheer you up a little" she smiled

"Is that the...only reason?" he asked her sounding a little upset

"I’m not sure, I think so, why do you ask? She asked

"I was curious is all Melody" he shrugged shading a little more on the drawing of Melody neither said anything for a moment before Jamiey broke the silence "Melody? How do you feel about me?" he asked

"What?" she asked rather confused

"How do you feel about me Melody?" he asked her she sighed a little moving in the bed so their legs where touching and resting her head on his shoulder and then taking his hand

"Honestly? I don’t know Jamiey, I don’t know...but I’m sure I’ll work it out eventually" she sighed

"Okay" he sighed seeming a little heartbroken "

"why? How do you feel about me?" she asked

"I'll tell you, when you figure out how you feel about me" he explained

"fair enough" she smiled sadly pressing a tiny kiss to his cheek before wrapping her arms around his arm and sighing as she rested her head on his chest after a few minutes Jamiey put his art stuff away on the floor laying back more and wrapping and arm around Melody holding her hand tightly as she drifted off to sleep and not even seconds later he drifted off to sleep as well.

first to wake was Jamiey he sore Melody still wrapped up in his arms and still blissfully sleeping he moved his arm from around her back to stroke her cheek before pressing a tiny little kiss to her lips it didn’t wake her but it made her stir in her sleep a little so he shut his eyes and pretended he hadn’t woke up yet as she began to wake up sitting up and stretching she giggled a little to herself as she looked back and sore Jamiey as far as she knew still asleep she giggled a little more kissing his forehead before she stood up and began fixing her clothes and hair as she fell asleep still dressed and with her hair up Melody didn’t notice the smirk that Jamiey had as she slipped off her overdress and began sorting herself out in his room she stood in the mirror tightening the string of the waist of her underdress when she spotted his smirking face

"AHHHHH! Jamiey!" She yelled quickly slipping her overdress back on

"Sorry Melody, I only just woke up" he smirked

"Liar" she laughed

"Don’t blame me you’re the one that decided to take your dress off I’m my room" he smirked at her

"Oh shut up Jamiey" she giggled.

Meanwhile Abbigale was under the waterfall her yellow boots and overdress laid on a nearby rock as she washed her blonde curly hair till a voice came from the other side of the clearing "oh Abbigale, it’s just you" Samual said as he arrived

"Oh good morning Samual, what are you doing here?" she asked continuing to wash her hair

"Looking for everyone, Melody wasn’t in her room I figured perhaps you two would have come here for an early shower" he explained sitting on a rock close by Abbigale’s clothes

"oh well she’s not here, I haven’t seen her since last night, last I sore her, her and Jamiey went to her room" she explained not thinking much off it that Jamiey and Melody where missing

"Why does that not surprise me" Samual sighed

"How so?" she asked

"There is something going on with those two it’s obvious" he sighs

"No I talked to her the other day about it she says there is nothing between them that she knows anyway" Abbigale explained "what does it matter, she keeps him happy that’s enough isn’t it" she shrugged

"I suppose Abbigale" he shrugged

"You can call me Abbi I don’t mind, I rather prefer it actually, only my mother calls me Abbigale and that’s only when she gets angry at me" she laughed

"Alright then Abbi" he said it was a little unclear but it did look like he smiled a little

"Why are you so worried about them?" she asked

"Well... why do you think? Earth and water, both minas both young adventurous, who knows what could happen" he explained

"You should like you’re her father, you honestly think Jamiey and Melody would....really have you seen him?" she laughed "I’d be surprised if he ever does" she smiled just as they heard two familiar voices getting closer

"Talk of the troglidies" Samual sighed just as Jamiey and Melody entered the clearing hand in hand as usual

"Abbigale mind if I join you?" Melody asked

"oh no go ahead Melody" Abbigale smiled so Melody left Jamiey hand slipping off her over dress and diving into the water once she resurfaced she sighed happily "you must be in heaven in here" Abbigale smiled

"yeah, it feels just like home" Melody smiled just as Jamiey sat on a rock the other side from Samual sitting Melody's dress beside him they all sat or swam around happily talking like they had known on each other all their lives

"Why don’t you boys join us?" Abbigale suggested

"I’m fine thank you, I’m not a fan of water" Samual replied briefly

"I’m alright, I’m good here" Jamiey replied Abbigale then whispered something to Melody the boy didn’t hear what and the two smirked evil Abbigale stood back under the waterfall letting her very, very wet underdress cling to her body leaving no part clear she then began unbuttoning it from the front and slipping it down her shoulders Samual was very well distracted so Melody made a few huge bubbles of water and let them float in the air that Abbigale was moving rather secretly before Jamiey shook his head uninterested in what Abbigale was doing ruining their whole idea so with skill Melody swam up to the waterfall and stood with Abbigale and began slipping her underdress of and within seconds Jamiey had returned his full attention to them and within a few seconds Melody and Abbigale let the bubbles drop and fixed their clothes turning to see the now soaked boys "Abbigale, Melody that’s not funny" Samual shouted Melody and Abbigale where giggling like crazy swimming back in the water again

"yeah that’s really unfair" Jamiey complained wiping the water off his face so Melody swam up to him being only a few inches away from him

"well it wouldn’t have worked so good if you boys went to easily distracted" she giggled slyly

"we, we, we went" he stuttered before Melody grabbed his shirt and dragged him into the water making Abbigale and Samual laugh a lot at him "Mel that’s not fair" he complained

"Well it got you to come swim didn’t it" she laughed so he sighed slipping his shirt off and happily swimming with the girls for a while "Sam come on the waters great" Melody encouraged

"No, I’m good, I have a long history of not likely water" Samual replied

"Come on don’t be a kill joy Sammy" Abbigale laughed so he sighed getting up and joining the others in the water "I don’t like this" he sighed instantly as Melody splashed some water over him

"Oh grow up" Melody giggled swimming away they all messed around in the water for what seemed like hours before at last they got out

"So how we gonna, you know?" Jamiey asked

"boys over there, girls over here" Abbigale smirked as her and Melody headed behind a few trees and the boys to the other side within a few seconds both of the girls underdresses where hung over the trees "OI flower boy, eyes of the ladies" Samual laughed making Jamiey return his attention to what he should have been doing from the tree line till the girls where dressed again "so what now?" Melody asked

"I think we should go practice" Abbigale said so they all walked off to the clearing with the little dummy that Jamiey and Melody had visited a few days earlier

"So how does it all work?" Melody asked

"It’s a rhythm a part of your soul, you can’t learn by copying someone else you have to discover it on your own" Abbi explained

"Oh that should be easy" Melody giggled

"Really? You honestly think you can master your element in an easy length of time water girl, your delirious, and maybe too much water in your ears" Samual scoffed

"oh really" she giggles taking a cup of water from a rear by table moving her hand slightly to make the water stand to her height making them all stand in shock "something you all must understand, yes you are all surrounded by your element at all times but only water we live within it becomes a part of us and we will always be a part of the water" she explained moving slightly letting the water move around her like a person "my grandmother taught me from infancy to dance with the water" she smiled letting it drop to the floor "I’ve Have had practice" she giggled

"Well great then what do we do?" Samual sighed

"I can’t teach you but I can show you how to find it" she laughed "be as comfortable as possible and just go with it” she smiled it took everyone a while everyone separating to work alone within a few moments Abbigale began humming slipping off her gloves letting a little wind start swilling around her as she spun forming a mini tornado around her making her blonde curls fly up into the wind "why aren’t you doing anything Samual?" Melody asked letting her water snake follow her around

"Flower boy will get mad if I burn anything" Samual sighed

"Well I’m here anything catches fire I will put it out" she smiled

"its fine, I know my abilities" Samual shrugged so Melody sighed going to see Jamiey he sat in front of a tiny little plant barely even coming out the ground

"What’s the matter?" she asked sitting beside him

"I don’t have any control over what I do, there I said it" he sighs "it only happens when I’m upset or really happy I have no control over it" he sighs

"Well then why not make you happy?" she asked

"How?" he asked

"uhhhh I don’t know, you could try" she suggested he then sat his hands next to the plant and stared at it intently but nothing it may have even shrunk slightly "uhh anything you know works" she asked

"sometimes rubbing my hands works" he sighs before rubbing his hands and putting them close to the plant again Melody giggled putting her hands atop of his and pushing them further towards the plant and deeper into the earth he turned to look at her, her face only being a few inches from his and the plant shot up about eight inches instantly "see" she giggled

"uh yeah, thanks Mel" he smiled they all practiced for hours apart from Samual who sat on the ground leaning against a tree and they all got pretty good with their ability’s until it was getting late and as the festival was tomorrow they decided to head to their rooms Jamiey walking Melody to her door and bidding her goodnight with a kiss on the hand Samual even walked Abbigale to her room biding her goodbye with a simple "night".
