they all stood a little worried how long this would take as Jamiey bided goodbye to lord oak his uncle and his cousin lavender, and lavenders wife lobbedia before then turning to their little daughter roise

"Okay, roise, uncle Jamiey got to go away for a while" he told her holding her in his arms tightly

"Will you be coming back uncle Jamiey?" she asked innocently

"I’m not too sure roise, but don’t worry, your mummies will take good care of you till I come back" he told her giving her head a little kiss before handing her to lobbedia he looked like he was going to cry as Melody took his hand and they all took their stuff and began to walk away from the city

"wait, I have to do something" he said before running off Melody followed him as Samual and Abbigale stood sighing Jamiey went to his moths stone and hugged the tree tightly "bye, bye mummy" he said sadly hugging it one last time before going back with Melody they then left the city and walked through the rough forest land Samual in front with Melody and Abbigale behind him the two stood beside each other chatting and Jamiey at the back trying his best not to look back as he was much slower than the others "how long does it take to walk so far?" Abbigale sighed

"What do you mean?" Jamiey asked her

"I mean, how do you all walk everywhere? My people done really walk anywhere" she asked

"I see your problem Abbi, we don’t really walk either we swim, but I’m sure it won’t be much further" Melody Added

"Only about half an hour that’s all girls" Jamiey told them

"How can we trust him he's never left the forest, his probably been leading us across the forest rather than though it" Samual sighed

"I might not know all of Elia Samual but I know Valentina" Jamiey spitted "especially these paths, I work at the forest edge you know, that’s where I met Melody" Jamiey smiled

"No one speaks to me like that, especially not some stuck up earthican flower boy" Samual yelled turning drawing his red hot glowing sword in response Jamiey drew his bow and an arrow the girls quickly got out of the way

"Red hot blade, I could kill you not no mess, so I suggest you know your place inbred" Samual spitted

"Oh yeah, arrow heads dipped in carnation sap" Jamiey explained "know what that is? it’s a poison one hit your praised in two seconds dead in six, no screams, no blood, nothing, so watch who your calling inbred" he explained

"BOYS!" Abbigale yelled making them both slightly lower their weapons "we are the elements were meant to be in harmony, we can’t if you kill each other now weapons away" she yelled and they both begrudgingly put their weapons down "that’s better, come on Samual, I’ll walk with you, I’m sure we will be out in the open again soon" Abbigale told him walking beside him

"come on Jamiey" Melody smiled offering her hand so he put his bow away and took her hand as they kept walking through the forest till atlas they reached the forest edge Abbigale and Samual happily continued walking not bothering much about it turning north towards acatec Melody left too severing the warm sunlight and peaceful wind though the vast empty space Jamiey stood still in the forest he looked very scared "what’s the matter?" she asked him

"I’m just a little scared" he answered

"come on Jamiey, remember we will come back soon" she told him taking his hand again and slowly pulling him away from the forest and he sadly took his first few steps out of Valentina and into the empty forbidden lands after a few hours of walking it began to get dark so they set up their tent and laid their sleeping bags out on the ground Samual was quickly asleep and Abbigale sat by the doors of the tent looking out into the darkness before resting her head on the door and sleeping, after a while of quiet "Melody?" Jamiey asked quietly

"Yes Jamiey?" she asked

"Do you mind if I come a little closer? I feel kinda home sick" he asked sadly

"Sure Jamiey" she giggled moving closer to him within moments they both feel asleep until the brink of drawn Abbigale woke everyone up and they kept going for what seemed like hours until Abbigale spoke

"We should hurry we don’t have long" Abbigale said

"Why not?" Melody asked

"At exactly 4pm the sunlight will go through the reflector and the entrance to the city will be impossible to pass" she explained

"What? Don’t you think this might have been good to tell us as it’s already 1pm?" Jamiey asked her

"sorry, we need to hurry” she told them and everyone began to speed it until they atlas saw the ground gates of acatec but it was 3:58pm so they had to run as the light of the sun began to get close to the glass of the reflector but as they ran Melody’s foot got stuck in the dry sand and Jamiey stood trying to help her and Abbigale and Samual ran safely inside

“Melody, Jamiey come on you have not got time for this”

Abbigail said as she used her power to brush away the sand they both ran as the sun began to move into the reflector Samual and Abbigail cheered them on then suddenly Melody feel and the light was almost over the hill Jamiey took her arm they tried to out run the sun Jamiey sore this was impossible and took Melody’s shoulder and tossed her into the gate and Jamiey jumped but only half of him was inside the gate the sun light shone bright though the reflector the deadly light hitting everything outside of the gate and he screamed they pulled him in the gate and the gate snapped shut behind him.
