Melody sat calmly in the pool of her room she didn’t feel like swimming though the tunnels today so she just sat enjoying the water till she heard a sound from her door "hey Mel" she looked up and sore Jamiey he looked nervous but it was understandable ever since they returned No one had really been overly social Jamiey least so, It had been about three weeks since they returned and the only time anyone even sore each other was dinner If everyone even attended that, "hey Jamiey, what’s up?" she asks

"I uh, I made you something" he told her sitting on the small amount of ground just beside the pond she swam up to where he was sat but keeping her distance best she could

"What did you make me?" she smiled

"pick up some water and I will show you" he told her so she cupped her hands and they filled with water he then took her hands holding them from underneath and soon a small shoot began and he pulled her hands down so the small shoot feel into the water as fast as it had formed the roots sprawled out into the water and greenery began on the surface and bloomed a beautiful purple flower "it can only survive in water...it’s a water flower I thought they would be nice" he told her and she couldn't stop smiling

"Its beautiful Jamiey" she smiled pushing slightly out the water to press a small kiss to his lips "thank you" she smiled

"y-y-y-your welcome m-Melody" he stuttered smiling like a six year old

"What do you call them?" she asked him

"Oh uh I had thought about calling them Lilly’s they look a lot like Lilly’s" he told her

"Waterlily’s" she smiled

"Yeah, waterlily’s" he answered

"They really are beautiful Jamiey, they give this place a bit more life" she smiled pushing herself out the water to be sat just beside him twisting her hair to get the water out as she sat there

"it’s okay I thought about making plants that live in water but they all went a bit…wrong, I’m happy that one turned out so well" he told her she giggled a little at him his eyes lighting up to see her smile so much she soon moved to be resting her head on his chest and she took his hand, his face quickly reddened and he couldn’t stop smiling they sat like that for a while before he picked up her head making her look up to him and he just stared at her "would you kill me if I kissed you?" he asked her and she smiled

"I don’t know, why don’t you find out?" she smirked making him smile too before he leaned in and kissed her she instantly kissed back and they kept kissing for a very long time their kiss continuing to get deeper and deeper the only sound in the room the sound of their kisses till a sound stopped them

"Jamiey! Melody! What on earth are you doing?" the voice yelled they stopped and turned to see Abbigale at their door not looking too happy with them "you two should be working not…snogging" she yelled seeming overly worked up for no real reason in particular

"Abbi you are a massive kill you joy, you know that?" Jamiey sighed

"Maybe so, but I get stuff done, now back to your room Jamiey else Samual is gonna set fire to your arse" she told him

"How it is you and Sammy get alone time but me and Mel don’t?" he asked her

"Because he’s fire and I’m air we aren’t always needed your two are earth and water you two need to be constantly busy" she answered

"I don’t unless it’s an earthquake based apocalypse or somewhere needs food I can sleep all day" he told her

"Well what have you been doing?" Abbigale asked him

"I have uh....I uh...I uh...I made some new flowers" he told her pointing to the Waterlilly growing in Melody’s pond

"Really? that’s it, back to your room Mr." she told him so he sighed giving Melody a kiss on the hand before he left returning to his room "and what have you gotten up to Melody?" Abbigale asked her

"I’m looking after the seas and I have re-routed a river for one of the earth villages so there farms get more water and as always new fish" she explained

"Okay that’s pretty good Mel" she said sitting with Melody "well as I have a few minutes I can catch up on all the gossip, I’m gonna make a quick assumption that you and Jamiey are-" she says

"Oh I’m not really sure Abbi, in truth I’m not sure what we are" Melody replied

"Well you know me and Sammy have been for a long time now, and we all knew Jamiey was head over heels in love with you anyway, how do you feel about him?"

"I’m not really sure Abbi...I know I certainly like him a like him a lot but, I know he loves me and I’m unsure if I will every truly love him"

"He loves you a lot Mel, I think he loves you more than anything, I mean he was willing to die with you, and he’s always been trying to impress you ever since you met" she told her

"I know, but still I’m sure I will learn to love him"

"Yeah I guess so Mel, just remember a little tick I’ve learnt, if they start getting handsy 'I’m tried' or 'not this week' works super well"

"Thanks I think I’m gonna need that with Jamiey" she laughed and they both started laughing and giggling

"Are you girls talking about us?" both Samual and Jamiey shouted from the hall

"no" the girls giggled soon after Abbigale left leaving Melody all alone and everyone attempted to do some work but Melody couldn’t keep her focus on anything the kiss was driving her crazy thinking about it after a while she swam into the tunnel system swimming up and around the system and soon enough found the right tunnel that made her come out in the pond in the earth room where Jamiey sat under a tree "hey Mel" he said surprised to see her

"Hey Jamiey, can I ask you something?" she asked

"Yeah sure what?" he asked her sitting up from the tree so he was just beside her

"Do you love me?"

"Not being mean or anything Mel but that’s kinda a stupid question" he told her

"Why?" she asked

He smiled and kissed her lips "of course I love you" he told her "do you love me?" he asked her cautiously

"Jamiey I-" she began unsure how to really to answer such a big question she was struggling to think straight with his brown puppy eyes starting at her she smiled and kissed him "I love you too" she smiled.

Not even a full week later word spread across the Elia that the thrones where once again filled and almost everyone in Elia turned up on the doorstep of the palace with the thrones sat on the walk one for each off the new rulers with all sorts of decor all about the plains with people of all races mixing and talking for the first time in a millennium till the doors of the palace opened and Abbigale who’s normal trousers and over dress now replaced now with a plain white trousers and a yellow shirt and Melody who’s long dress now replaced with a small blue dressed only in a small dress just above her knee the two stepped out to a roar of the crowd they stood beside each other in front of their thrones and smiled and waved as the crowd cheered them on "I feel like a princess" Abbigale smiled a bit blown away

"Abbi were not princess we are queens" Melody smirked

"Don’t we have to like balance books and junk?” Abbi asked

"Abbi I was a princess, we don’t do that its bullshit" Melody told her just as Samual and Jamiey turned up late as normal

"Hey" Samual said briefly to Abbigale

"Hey Sammy" Abbigale smiled giving his cheek a tiny kiss and holding his hand

"Hey you" Jamiey smirked giving Melody a kiss on the cheek and giving Melody’s arse a squeeze in the process

"Jamiey, stop it" she laughed in response moving his hand to her waist before they happily kissed and the earth and water people lost their minds cheering before they all sat on their thrones ready to rule over Elia.
