"Get me another one of these!" Said a Man to a bartender after he finished his drink.

He has sharp green eyes with pointy hat,by the looks of it probably in his twentieth. He's using brown shirt, long pants with a dagger attached to his back, and a lot of belts surrounding his waist, body and arms. The belt on his body crossed with each others, making an 'X' mark on his chest, all the belt is filled with many knives.

"Of course sir." The bartender took his glass and refill it with juice from some kind of fruit and gave it to him.

"Here Sir."

The man gulping the content in his glass and burping happily.

"Ah yes! this is great~ its been a while since i drink something so sweet and satisfying."

"Fortunately for you Sir, Durri fruit isn't actually famous around here for its bad smell so I'm quite happy someone finnaly ordering this."

"Which make it so damn cheap~ Oh I'm having a blast!"

Just when the guy asked for another refill, two customers entering the bar.

"Welcome! uh.."

Bartender face changed expression suddenly just as he saw the new customers coming in. The cheer happy face turned upside down real quick.

"What's the matter?"

"It's nothing.." He said, then approached the man closely and start whispering him

"Don't you see those new costumers there?"

"Yep, what about them?"

"Then you must be new here... i suggest you stay away from them, Especially the one in weird clothing."

"Hmm... now you just made me curious Mr.Bartender."

"... Theres a rumor that she came from the 'Surface'."

"So you're saying she one of the 'super human' thing?"

"Yes.. I heard she already killed many too.. and in a single hit."

The man looks at both of them, especially the one in weird ragged army clothing. After thinking a while and finish his drink, he finnaly decide.

"Well well, now i really gotta chat them, later bartender."

"You! even though I warned you!"

The man walks into Vali and Hemeth. Vali just about to discuss which one at the bar should they asked to be the new comrade with Hemeth, but Hemeth is too busy looking at menu until suddenly noticed a guy came towards them."

"Hello."

The man gave proper introduction to them, Hemeth greet him nicely too, even though Vali just staring at him without care. He told them that he's an adventurer, seeking new places and wanted to go far deep beyond current level."

"So you wanted to go beyond level 6 ?" Asked Hemeth.

"That's right."

"Is level 6 deep?" Asked Vali.

"It's very deep Vali, how can you not know this!? its basic knowledge!"

"Is it matter anyway?"

"Don't tell me you not even know what level we at right now."

" 5?"

"..."

Hemeth explain to Vali that beneath the 'surface' has levels, the one they reside right now is level 3, level 2 is where most people live and level 1 is too near surface therefore could be toxic, Inadvisable to go there without proper equipment. Every levels has a tremendiously huge hole, the old civilization seems to use huge elevator to go between levels trhough the hole, but its stopped working without power, none ever saw the elevator anyway as it burried deep down. No one know what happen back in the days since it was centuries ago, what happened was known as incident 'E-420' or 'Eris-four-twenty'. levels beneath 3 are even more dangerous, with many vicious creature and total darkness, so far people can only mark until 6, none ever heard from 7. Even though the old civilazation noted theres more than 10 levels.

"I see.."

Looking at Vali and Hemeth the man convinced that Vali is indeed 'strange' that she's not even know the world history and basically "common sense" of basic knowledge , thus made him sure that she's from the 'surface'.

"Well well.. someone need more info about their own world haha!"

"Yea, I'm sorry she's kinda weird at times." Said Hemeth gigling.

"Why Hemeth is sorry for me.. now i felt really dumb" Thought Vali while looking at them.

"Say.. then what brings you two here?"

"We need new comrade! oh right why dont you-" Said Hemeth immediately before Vali shut Hemeth out by shoving the bar menu to their mouth.

"Now now.. Hemeth, we are here searching info where to resupply our needs don't we?"

"Y-yeah.. that too."

"Oh my! if you're looking for general good store i do have it in mind! and its very cheap and high quality!"

"How cheap is it for spears, very strong net and any bow if theres any?" Asked Vali.

"Hmm.. spears huh? that should be 2 coppers, net probably 5 coppers and i dont know any bow.. but they do has far more interesting things.."

"Like what?"

"Super weapon!"

"huh?"

"huh?"

Both Vali and Hemeth confused, but they did found out the prices are very cheap in that store so they decide to ask him direction."

"I will. But, that's if you let me join your group, aren't you looking for new member? I noticed when you looking intensely at each person here. Gotta say you make them so scared- they got petrified!." He conclude jokingly.

"We gladly acce-"

"No." Said Vali interrupting Hemeth.

"Wait Vali? why?"

"We thank you for the info but we can't let you in."

"Is that so.. it can't be helped then.." Said the man looks dissapointed.

"Lets go Hemeth."

"Eek so soon!? I havent ordered any food yet!"

Vali then goes out leaving Hemeth behind.

"Wait up!!"

"WAIT!" Said the man suddenly.

"Huh?"

"In case you still needed a comrade, I'll be here most of the time, so don't be shy and ask me out okay?"

"Uh.. yeah sure, I'll remember that." Said Hemeth.

Hemeth then goes out chasing Vali, the man goes back to his seat and asked bartender for another drink with a grin on his face.

"What happened there? You seems happy... if it were me I'll be scared to death!" Asked the bartender.

"I AM scared to death RIGHT NOW."

"What happened??" Asked the bartender again, shocked with his reaction.

"Mr.Bartender... the rumour might be just right... that girl is most likely a 'super human' from the 'surface'."

"I knew it!"

"And..."

"Yes?"

"Nevermind."

The man wanted to tell her name was Vali but stopped. "Her name is Vali.. and is a 'super human' perhaps it's implying she's one of the 'Valiarth'?" The man keep thinking as he drink his Durri juice.

At the outside of the bar Hemeth finnaly catching up to Vali.

"What took you so long?"

"Why you going so fast?" Asked Hemeth while panting, catching their breath.

"I don't like that guy."

"Well.. indeed he looks suspicious, but he helping us isn't he?"

"He did."

"Well.. he said if we still needed comrade he'll be there."

"It's better if we search for another guy. Besides.. his name.."

"Bronze?"

"Might be a code name.. I've heard group of adventurer using Bronze,Silver,Gold as nickname. And they're all trouble."

"I see.. Mr.Bronze huh?"

"And also.."

"Hm?"

"It's looks like you both having a good time make a fun out of me."

"OH WELL I'm sorry if I dont know WHERE exactly we are living !" Shout Hemeth sarcastically.

The two searching info for the 'very cheap' general store, but in the end they can't found it. They then bought their supplies from normal store they found and call it a day. The next day Hemeth asked Vali to check on Domy, even though Vali kinda against it, in order to focus searching for new members.

They arrived at the infirmary, Domy is still sleeping when they got there. Hemeth calls the doctor to do check up on him, but the doctor already did. Most likely he will woke today but still won't be allowed to leave the infirmary even when he felt better.

"I don't get you Vali."

"What now?"

"You said we need new member ASAP, but when some potential member show up you rejecting them. He also had info on super weap- I mean very cheap general store too!"

"You talking about that Bronze guy?"

"Exactly."

"I thought I already told you those group of people using name like Copper .. and else, is a trouble."

"Well, rumour aren't always true! besides it could be coincidence..."

"Personally, I always doubt rumour and not believing in any them for most cases. But this one is true."

"How'd you know that?"

"I've seen one of them, the one goes by 'Platinum' name. Very terrible one that is."

"I see..."

"You want to replace Me?" A voice suddenly coming from another person after listening to them for quite some time.

"DOMY! you're awake!" Said Hemeth happily.

"I am.. what's with this searching 'new member' thing?"

"Well.. don't worry about it, its just temporary! just focus healing yourself."

"Is that true..? Vali?"

Vali was leaning on the wall looking down as if she was thinking about something, then she turned her head looking down on Domy's eye after heard he asking her.

"No it'll be permanent replacement."

"WHAT!?" Shout Domy immidiately.

"Vali? you're not serious right?" Asked Hemeth.

"I am."

"I can still do it! I still able to hunt!"

"With that shoulder? a child would be more useful than you are now."

"My right hand is still okay! I... I can trhow spear!"

"You're left handed."

"I can practice! PLEASE!"

"So we have to wait till your 'training' done? I'm Sorry Tony but we don't have time for that."

"It wont take long! I beg of you!"

"That's enough VALI!" Shout Hemeth suddenly, made they both shocked.

"We Do have time! beside we can arrange for temporary partner don't we?"

It's unusual for Hemeth acting on impulse like this, usually Hemeth is pretty calm and cheerful but this time looks very different, thought Vali and Domy.

"It's not easy to find a good partner Hemeth, and a temporary one at that? last time i had partner who was arranged for 5 days they ran away after a day stealing all the stuff."

"Then i will find one, and if it's bad I'll take responsibility."

Vali looks at Hemeth eyes, Hemeth looks very determined in this. One thing she doesn't get though, why Hemeth is so attached to Domy. Vali first met Hemeth was 2 months ago and was partner ever since, but Domy joining was only a week ago and yet Hemeth is very supportive to him.

"If you insist Hemeth, do as you like."

"OH and more importantly!"

Just as Vali about to go out from the room she stopped.

"What?"

"Who the heck is TONY!?"

"...Whatever." Said Vali and then left the place with her eyes rolling.

"Excuse me my name is Domy." Said Domy silently.

"I can't believe her attitude.."

"Hey Hemeth.."

"Hm?"

"Thank you, it means alot to me."

"No problem! we are team aren't we?"

"Yeah... I'll go start practicing now."

"Don't get too hasty now Domy, heal yourself first."

"Nah I'm feeling better already. Vali is right, I had to be useful and start working myself out, It's my fault not competent enough during the hunt."

"Sorry.. Domy."

"Huh?"

"It's actually my fault. I'm the one who hinder you from stabbing it since I want to catch it alive... If only I didn't do that, none of this would happened."

"Thanks Hemeth but it was the plan to catch it alive, so if I was at the same position as you back then, I would do the same."

"I still sorry though."

"Apology accepted."

"By the way doctor said you musn't leave the room, even if you felt better. So you shouldn't practice until you're allowed."

"What!?... fine then."

Domy was against it, but he knows he must get better first so he agreed. Hemeth then goes out looking for Vali only to found out she went to sleep at an inn and was told that the hunt is first thing tommorow. Hemeth then goes out trying to find a temporary member.

"This town is sure big... already lost for few times now." said Hemeth while eating bread.

Hemeth then looks around the town noticing that as a level 3 town it sure lacks of defense, in case of monster attack or any villain activity.

"I'm supprise this place had no walls, and only encampment outside of the city, wonder how they kept it secure with this many guards lacking."

The city only had one huge main road from outside with side roads. The side roads had many branches and alley that lead to residents, shop district, marketplace and bars, while inn or hotels are on the side of the main huge road for most of it. The main road goes directly to city hall and stopped at huge building behind it.

"Probably mayor house..? shouldn't it swapped with city hall instead?" Hemeth thought.

And beyond that, a mountain of rocks and dirt all the way up to the sky.

Hemeth keep searching for info and members but never found any, most people avoid them since after knowing they with Vali.

The news sure spread fast... I really wonder what did Vali do making them act like this." Hemeth murmured, looking confused.

It was almost tomorrow finally Hemeth gave up and goes back to a certain bar with a certain person in it and asked him to be 'temporary partner' The man agreed to it and lead him to Vali where she already waiting for the next hunt. Hemeth looks very pale when about to face Vali with this new temporary 'Comrade'.
