I sat for days wallowing in my memories I stood infront of the fireplace where a photo frame still suts from when me and thomas got married and my wedding ring sittinf beside it yet my engagement ring as always around my neck on a chain till my work phone went off “hello?” I ask

“hebe, are you alone?” I heard hermes ask quietly

“yes of course whats the matter?” I ask

“look I shouldn’t be telling you this im using bugging stuff so they cant track it but listen they sent apollo out again with a small team to take out the lab, they just got back and…” he explains

“and?” I ask

“and apollos not with them"he says making me almost drop my phone "they said hes captured knowone has ang more information but zeus isnt going back for him he said he’s closing the case becuase they got out the serum hes leaving apollo there” he explains I hung up and raced down to the hyperline but it wouldnt let me in it said I was denied to I ran all the way to headquarters main building and going down into base marching to zues office and storming in the door “what the hell are you playing at?” I ask

“hebe, youve been put on leave until such time as you can think straight go home” he told me

“no, your leaving him?” I ask

“who?” he asks

“apollo, your just abandoning him"i ask

"one man is a small price to pay for the serum” he answers coldly

“dont refer to him like some fucking statistic one man my arse thats apollo your leaving in that tourcher chamver now you are going to send someone to get him out or I can’t garentee you’ll be alive tomorrow” I shout

“it would be counter productive to send a team to their deaths to save one man” he shrugs

“I DONT CARE!” I scream tipping his desk smashing everything on it “hes the man I love the only thing that matters to me you will get him back or I walk” I say starting to cry

“you and him can be replaced” he replies coldly “and you wont leave im the only one that knows where rhea is” he smirks I then just slapped him “you do not ever say her name, and your not even half the man apollo is you sit behind you desk to scares to get your suit dirty when men like apollo and hermes and mars our out risking there lives for you how much blood is on your hands zues, and how much more do you need to finally grow a soul” I say

“my conscience is clear” he replies so I leave going to weapons packing every weapon I can all the tech qnd gear I will need and loading it on a helicopter as I was loading the last bits hermes jogged up to me “hebe ?! HEBE?!” he yelled as he jogged “im coming with you” he said

“no I need you here your my radio” I reply

“no hebe im coming with you to help get apollo back” he says so I sigh and we get on taking off and going fairly fast

“why do you want to bad to help you hardly know apollo?” I ask

“I know him enough, enough to know hes a good man, and I know how much he still means to you, you two might be devoriced but you still love him and he still loves you” he explains

“is it really that obvious?” I laugh

“yeah just the way you look at him and the fact you still have your engagement ring around your neck is a huge give away” he laughs “plus the way he looks at you when you walk around weapons he never takes his eyes off you plus im not sure you noticed or not but he still wears it"he laughs

"wears what?” I ask

“his wedding ring, never seen him eithout it since you two got married that’s why it was always so hard to remember you went together you still look like you are” he explains “and I dont want you to go though what I did with athena” he says sadly

“we all miss her hermes, athena to this day is one if the strongest , bravest, sweetest, most beautiful woman ive ever known, I just wish we knew her real name then at least we could go to her grave and said our goodbyes"i reply sadly
