*Present Day*

"Was he okay?" One of the other girls asked me dying to know what happened next much like the others in the circle. "I wish I could say that he was...but after that phone call I didn't see him again till it was to late." The other girls moved closer in a circle to me and leaned in as far as they could. I laughed and wiped my eyes to get ride of the tears that were not there before.

He never came to school after that phone call happened and I spent my days often worrying about him. I did as he asked of me though and stayed away from his home and didn't call his house. I did call his cell from time to time but never had the luck of getting through to him once. The days seemed to get longer and the nights were longer filled with thoughts of him and what could be going on.The question he had asked me would often find its way into my head filled with thoughts at night now and again as well.
