The teen sighed, wrapping his hands around the warm mug, occasionally taking sips of his coffee.
"Okay, so… You’re Lucifer? But you’re…my religion professor?“ He asked, looking up from his mug and raising an eyebrow, noticing the older man still slumped in the chair with his legs resting on the table
"Do you pay attention in my lessons, Josh?” He paused, “Don’t answer that.” To be fair, he had talked about demons thoroughly on one Halloween when there was a demon themed lesson, going through some of the different myths and powerful demons, along with Lucifer, talking about rituals, becoming a demon through sins, incubi, succubi, aquatic demons, the stereotypes and more. To say Josh hadn't fully listened was an understatement, he’d admittedly nodded off a little way through the lesson. “Lucifer is not the only powerful demon, I’ve told you this. I am not Lucifer. There’s plenty of other demons. To be completely fair I didn’t expect you to actually do the ritual correctly, not like you could have summoned anyone else anyway, each demons ritual is unique, but surprising you managed,” He tapped his claws on the table slowly, “So until you ask a favour of me, or learn my name, you’re stuck with me. Then again, if you learn my true name you will be stuck with me. So call me Cal instead of professor, that’s not my real name by the way.”
Josh shrugged and finished his coffee, checking his phone to read the time, the numbers glowing brightly in contrast to his dark phone background, 2 am already. He was stuck with his professor until he could think of a favour, or learn his name.
"Alright, ‘Cal’, well sadly I’ve got no college tomorrow, which means none of your lessons, no spare bed, and I was supposed to have someone come over soon on a date. But.. if you’re staying, I’ll have to postpone that, because I’d really not have my professor hear me having my first time-“
Cal choked on his own drink and laughed, "What? Can’t I start to miss my lack of privacy? I’ve got a demon in my apartment, one bed, and a hot guy I was going to invite over who will probably not get to come over anymore. That’s not fair.” Josh frowned and crossed his arms defensively.
“Oh please, for one I wouldn’t give a damn if you had relations while I was here, I’m partly a damn incubus not a hung up 'no sex before marriage’ bible obsessor. Same goes for sharing your bed, I’m not bothered, somehow I’d expect you want me too you’re that desperate. Oh and third? You’re still a virgin at nineteen? That’s sad.” Cal smirked baring his teeth slightly, scratching the stubble on his chin and stretching, “Not that I wouldn’t be a little jealous,” The older man teased, laughing at Josh’s reaction and then leaned over to peer at his phone screen. Cal had only been a professor at the school for about a year, being pushed by his older sister to go out and find a human suiter, which most royal demons had too, and deciding “why not have a laugh and teach religion at the same time. It couldn’t hurt.” He had his eye on a few humans, Josh being among them, and had decided to drop hints about his demonic qualities on purpose, to see if he’d take the hint. Apparently, he had, and it was amusing, to say the least.
"Nope, I’m going to bed. I’m being flirted at by my professor and I’m still slightly drunk this isn’t a good combination, night.“ Josh yawned, shaking his head and standing up to walk away.
Yes, very amusing.
