Amy’s finger trembled on the cold trigger, the gun pointed towards the heart of her twin brother. Her brown colored eyes were going haywire, flickering from her scared parents to her brother. Her breaths were fast and crazy, heart pounding hard in her chest, which she could hear thumping in her ears, hard in her chest. As she stared deeply into her brother’s eyes, still keeping an eye on her parents, she studied him. Her trigger finger was twitching, slightly pulling against it over and over, mimicking the beat of her heart. She kept watching him, as a smile crept on her face. The smile spread across her face, making her look as scary as she was, teeth clenched as breath pushed through.
“Seeing your terrored face pleases me,” she managed with a shaky breath. “It's all your fault! I want to watch those pretty blue eyes of yours fade to nothingness. I wanna see the horror and shock on Mom’s and Dad’s face!” Suddenly she laughed, a deranged laugh that was filled with hatred and craziness.
Her brother stared at her, looking as unfazed as he could look, even though inside he was totally different. He was scared out of his mind. Tears were threatening to flood over, but he didn't want to break . He didn’t want to seem weak. He couldn’t be weak in front of his scared parents, so he bawled his fist up, nails digging hard into the palm of his head. He broke the flesh, blood seeping out, but he didn't care about the pain. He cared about the emotional and mental pain, knowing his sister was threatening to kill him in front of their parents. He could only imagine the pain and heartache there parents would feel if it does happen, and was afraid it would become a reality.
“Any last words,” Amy asked, in a somewhat happy tone.
