What Is The Price of Freedom?

Chapter Two: That we truly desire?

Chapter Two: That we truly desire?

Oct 09, 2017

I opened my eyes

And found myself,

Tucked

Underneath the covers

Of my room

With only

Bits and pieces

Of my memories

And a wet pillow.

Briceson

Picked me up from school

After I collapsed

And brought me home.

He called into work

And decided to stay with me.

Thoughts of Narcissa

Flew through my head.

We had promised

To do

Many things together

Once graduating

From Hillman Animosity.

Continue our education;

She with her fighting skills,

I with my shooting techniques,

And enter into The Rules: Special Class.

However, a memory

Came to me.

One that somehow,

Changed my life.

I remembered,

Looking up at the board,

And seeing

The large white flier

That read that positions

For Student Council

Had been opened,

And applications

Will be handed out

Through the main office.

That day,

I was struggling

To live

And to comprehend

Why would anyone want to be apart

Of a student council?

I felt her hand,

Tap on my shoulder

And she smiled.

"Thinking about going for Student Council President?"

She questioned,

"They hold a lot of power you know. Nearly everyone will be running to fill out an application."

"Why do they hold a lot of power?" I curiously asked,

Still fresh

Inside their world.

"Because they can implement anything they want. They hold the power to change the school itself. It’s said that it trains you to be a Commander for The Rules. You listen to your people and their needs. If you don’t fulfill their needs then you're gone. If you do, you are loved."

     Loved...?

"I bet you can run for President Ratana." She grinned.

     "Why President?" I asked.

She shrugged, "I don’t know. I guess it’s because of your kind personality!"

I looked back at the board

And nodded my head.

“Maybe I should?” I thought to myself.

This chapter almost not made it and that was mainly due to homework and hey I live in Vegas(born n raised) so that made a huge impact of what I was doing after what happened. Gotta make sure them peeps are doing fine!

Also The Rules ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Sometimes we run out of ideas. I might change it tho.

Dont forget to comment and leave tips if you can! :D
