“ Famn…” gets up and stumbles to the kitchen tripping on the table and falling again but stays there for a while crying on the floor mostly because of his toe. He gets in his chair and wheels over.

“Why?” holding his toe..

“Why? What can’t a man cry over his toe and pain?”

“Dirk you know what i’m talking about.” gets up and takes jakes face in his hands and looks at him. Looks at him.

“What?”kisses jake

“It’s nothing i just had one of my moments that’s all.”then he gets up and walks outside and slides down the door with his head in his hands. He sat there. Jake didn’t know what he did wrong. Bec jumps in his lap and smiles. he sits there for a little bit and walks back inside

“What did I do? Dirk what did I do?”

“It’s not you it’s me i got mad for no reason and i’m sorry.” Jake looks at him.

“Is it me being paralyzed?”

“ No it’s not” He looks at him. “Yes it is and I know it.” “ are you angry at me?”

Jake looks at him “A little”

“If you want you can slap me if it make you feel better” stays still.

“Dirk I would never slap you”

“Don’t worry Jake i’m not going to do anything to you but I’m starting to loose my temper.” Jake hugs him.

“Dirk I love you and you know that.”

“Jake please just do it already!” shouts at Jake. 

Jake Slaps him. Dirk freezes and looks at Jake.

“Thank you.” He rolls into their room. Dirk stares at him then follows Jake standing in the doorway. Jake had a back pack .

“where are you going jake?” takes the bag from him and grabs jake’s chin making him look at him. He had tears in his eyes.

“I’m going to stay with Rox and Jane for a little while.” Jake sighs
