Slowly but surely she dared to lift up her head wanting to see his reaction. Whatever his reaction would be she could take it she thought to herself. However when Emily's green eyes were finally looking at him again. The pale almost white skin had turned a bright red. The light blue eyes she could normally drown in now were filled with disbelief only strengthened by the blonde eyebrows that where raised in surprise. However the most prominent was the absence of the otherwise always present smile. Instead his mouth was slightly opened as if ready to say something but being unable to do so only adding to the surprise showing on his face. Slowly his rather long eyelashes moved down and back up again as to reboot his system. His response was slow and silent. "Like a date?" He asked, his eyes still filed with doubt. "With me?" He affirmed. Emily didn't know how to react she was prepared for rejection or joy but not this. All his reactions were just so innocent and sweet making it impossible to keep her eyes of off him. Cole looked easily ten times better then she did yet he was convinced that she was out of his league. Emily nodded in excitement finally putting the boy out of his misery. His expression had somewhat returned to normal as he continued. "I would love to" "Emily" hearing her name in his soft voice made her heart pound in her chest and scream internally.
The moment of pure happiness was soon disturbed by the alarm on Emily's phone going of. "Sorry I really have to go now." she said already standing up from her chair. however she had to do one thing first. "Do you have any plans tomorrow after school?" There wasn't much time before her train arrived but this was important. His eyes shot up "No I haven't." he quickly responded. "I'll see you then okay." She hastily added. The response was a firm nod after which he waved at the already leaving girl.
