Working, that was what I was doing. I was supposed to move some boxes to the storage room. So I held a box in my arms and made my way towards the storage room.
I got to the door that led to the storage room and opened it.
I had to put all the boxes on the top shelf, which was pretty high up. I grabbed a ladder and set it up right next to the shelf and began to climb up. I lifted the box and placed it on the top shelf.
And that was when I noticed that this storage room did not have a ceiling… it was open. I had a few steps left on this ladder so I continued upward and looked over the walls of the room. It was absolutely beautiful.
It was water. But before I could admire anymore scenery, a door opened in the storage room. I climbed down the ladder and went through the door. I appeared on the other side where the water was. I was on a dock, and there was water all around me. The water was such a pastel, elegant blue and the colors all around me burned with deep, bright hues.
Walking down the dock, I noticed something in the middle of the way. It was a pile of candy. How odd, I thought, as I walked towards the strange pile of sweets. I knelt down next to the pile and reached my hand towards it.
I felt my eyelids go heavy. They closed for just a second.
I opened my eyes. There was no more bright colors… it was dark. Dimmed shades of red caught my eye as I looked around. A big cave was where I was. I felt a tug at my sleeve. I turned to face what it was. It was my little brother.
Before I could say a word to him, a horde of people rushed in from the cave’s entrance, which resembled a sort of wooden dock. It kind of reminded me of the beautiful dock and water where I was before. My brother and I were standing on a larger lower level of dirt than those people on a dock higher up.
They began yelling at us, saying that we were cursed children who released the witch. They were throwing rocks and telling us to stay away and that we need to be punished for our wrong doing. I grabbed my little bro and held him close to my body to protect him from the flying rocks. The people kept yelling and throwing. Rocks flew back bruising and cutting my skin.
Please stop, I whispered…. Please stop. Noise just kept building up and pain kept coming through. Please stop, I whispered a little louder this time. They did not stop nor did they hear me. Please stop, please stop… pLeaSe sTop… PLEASE STOP!!! I yelled to the top of my lungs, shaking the earth below me.
All fell silent. It was quiet for once, but it didn’t last for long.
All the people scrambled to rush out of the cave screaming, “IT’S THE WITCH, SHE’S HERE, RUNNNNN!”
I remember watching these pitiful people rushing for their lives, stomping on each other. I closed my eyes and all fell silent once again…
-END
NOTE: I want to say that that beautiful scenery was where I, the witch was imprisoned, probably in the middle of the water because that's where I appeared in the cave. It must have been a long amount of time between the beautiful lands to this dark-ish cave.
