We walked back down to the Riverman, scheduling to meet Flowey back at the capital. Back on the boat, the Riverman said yet another cryptic message. About what, I'm not sure. “I warned you.”
We got off, and Sarah was really freaked out. I handled it calmly, because let’s be honest, the Riverman says some really weird things. We kept walking, and met up with Flowey in the judgment hall.
“Frisk, how many times have you been here?” Flowey turned and asked me.
“Not counting this time, only twice.” I said. “So I've only been through a reset once.”
“What’s a reset?” Sarah asked me. Why must she be so inquisitive?
“Don't ask.” I said. “Even I don't completely understand it.”
“I was just wondering.” Flowey looked around the judgment hall.
“How many times have you been here?” I asked him back.
“Over a hundred.” Flowey looked down, remembering all the resets that he did.
“Ok, let’s head to the coffins.” I said, leading the way.
“I wonder if the souls have returned.”
“Why would they return?” Sarah asked curiously.
“Their dead bodies are in there.” Flowey explained.
“There are dead bodies in here?!” Sarah said, shocked.
“That’s why there’s coffins.” I explained, rolling my eyes.
“What are they teaching you up there on the surface?” Flowey skipped ahead and went directly to the coffins.
We quickly caught up to him, Sarah still confused about everything. “I don't see anything here.” I said, trying to catch my breath.
“See, I told you that we should’ve talked to smiley trash bag.”
“We can go talk to him now, if you're so set on it.” I said, slightly annoyed.
“I don’t want to talk to him. I said you should go talk to him. You’re the one with the problem.”
“You’re the one that brought it up.” I said back.
“Well I have better things to do.” Flowey snapped back.
“Too bad.” I said. “Let’s go talk to Sans.”
