“What if I could have fought back? Against the player, and Chara? Now Chara’s stuck in my mind forever, unless we figure out some way to stop it, which we probably won't!” I said, yelling in anger and fear at the same time.
“relax kid, you’ll be okay. we’ll figure this out.”
“How?!” I screamed. “Chara. Is. In. My. MIND! And if I try to sleep she’ll come back!”
Sans looked about ready to say something when Papyrus walked in. “SANS?” He said. “WHY AM I HEARING YELLING? IS EVERYTHING OKAY? OH, HELLO FRISK. SANS, WHAT’S GOING ON?”
“look, bro, everything is fine. frisk just needs some help with something and got a little upset.”
“A little?” I said. Sans shot a glance at me, then went back to talking.
“anyway, it’s nothing for you to worry about, okay papyrus?”
“OKAY, BROTHER. SEE YOU LATER THEN. NYEH HEH HEH!” Papyrus walked back out the door. Sans released his breath, but I don't think he even realized he had been holding it.
“look, kid. i know that this might be a lot to take in right now, but we'll get through this. and i might have an idea on how. also, sarah is kind of freaking out outside. i told her that you were going tibia okay, but she’s still freaking out.”
Just then, Sarah came bursting in. “Oh my gosh, Frisk, are you okay? I was so worried about you!”
“Y-yeah, I'm fine, just a little bit out of it. Talk to Sans, I can't handle people talking to me at the moment.”
She turned to Sans. “So, what's going on with Frisk exactly?”
“well, right now frisk is being possessed by a demon child named chara, who was tori and asgore’s adopted daughter.”
“I am so blaming Flowey for this.” I said, sitting back up.
“You know flowey?” Sans said to me, surprised.
“Yeah.” I replied. “Wait, you know Flowey?” I asked.
“unfortunately, yes. that guy is so annoying. in one timeline he got papyrus to make a flowey fan club. at that point i lost it and forced him to reset the game.”
“Oh. Makes sense.” I said.
“he reset so much, that i started to record what happened and the different outcomes in a journal.”
“Wait, what are you guys talking about?” Sarah said. “Resets, outcomes, timelines? What exactly is going on here?”
“i can tell you what you want to know in my lab where it's safe.”
“Okay then. Lead the way. Frisk, you’ll be okay here for a bit, right?”
“Yeah, I'll be good.” I replied. It wasn't fair to her. She shouldn't have to be pulled into this and out of her normal life.
“sarah, just so you know, we aren't walking, we’re teleporting. it's a lot faster, though it’s a strange sensation at first.” Sans smiled.
“Okay then. Let’s go!” Sarah exclaimed excitedly.
“first, you need to grab my hand.”
“Okay.” Sarah reached for his hand, holding it in a firm grip for a nine year old. Suddenly a farting noise came from Sans’s hand. She then realized that she just got dunked on.
“the whoopie cushion in the hand trick, it's always funny!” Sans then started laughing.
“You’ve got to be kidding me!” Sarah said, her not being very fond of practical jokes.
“this is the part when you start laughing.” Sans said. Sarah just stood there. “seriously? nothing? okay then. but you do need to hold my hand in order to teleport.”
