Years have past. Lor and I have three children, two girls and a boy. Last night, Lor was poisoned and I stayed with him for as long as he wanted me to, which wasn't very long, and he died late this evening. I have no idea what to do, seeing as my children are so young, my oldest being six and youngest being only four months old. I cried so hard when I received the new that he had died, because he did not ask for me, but instead asked for me to leave. I know that he was horrible to me and he wasn't that good of a king, but I cared about him and he was the father of my children. It is very late, but I lay here crying, the tears don't stop falling. If only my father was here, he would know what to do.
I hear a knock on my door, so I walk over to open it. And who else should have been there, but my father. I cried even more, it must have been a hallucination.
"Addry?" my father asked, "Why are you crying?" I frown as I wipe my tears, that was my mother's name. She died just two years ago.
"Father, it's me, Jessa." I said. My father stood there and looked at me in shock. I noticed that my father looked exactly like he did all those years ago.
"You can't be my Jessa." my father said, "Jessa is just a child. Today is her sixteenth birthday."
"No, father." I said, "It's been 12 years and 9 months since I last saw you." My father's jaw dropped and his eyes widened.
"That can't be." he said, "I don't believe it."
"Father, would you like to meet your grandchildren?" I asked. He blinked in disbelief.
"I'm a grandfather?" my father asked, "Of course I would love to meet them, but I do not believe any of this you are saying to me." I sighed.
"Please meet them." I said, "They have just lost their father and they are still so young."
"How young?" my father asked.
"My eldest is six and youngest is four months old." I stated.
"Then, I don't see why not." my father said, "I won't believe that they are my grandchildren, just as I don't believe you are my daughter, but if you can prove to me that you are in fact my daughter. I will learn to believe you." We walked to the nursery and my two daughters ran up to me.
"Mummy!" they yelled in unison as they hugged me.
"Is Daddy alright?" my elder daughter, Tailia, asked. I frowned.
"I'm sorry, Tailia." I said, "Daddy isn't with us any longer." Tailia frowned.
"Who is that man?" Ilianna asked, pointing at my father, "Behind you, Mummy?" I look over at my father, who started to smile.
"I wish I was there for when you were younger." my father said, "I understand now, Jessa." I blinked and then smiled.
"Girls." I said, "This is your grandfather." Tailia frowned.
"He doesn't look like the picture we have," Tailia said.
"No, Tailia." I said, "This man is my father." Tailia and Ilianna look at each for a second, then look back at us and start smiling.
"Does this mean that we don't have to visit with the other grandfather?" Ilianna asked. I frowned.
"You know that he never visits, Ilianna." I said, "But this grandfather will live at the castle." The girls smiles get even bigger.
