Each member of the team is then trained on how to better use their powers, throughout the day. Master Yuki and Kajor first help Ken and Shawn; teaching them how to act as one unit.

"Now, you two are polar opposites of the same coin, Fire and Ice, and just like Peanut Butter and Jelly, you two can't exist without the other." explains Kajor.

"That is a weird analogy, but I will go with it." retorts Ken.

"When you fight, you two are great alone, but together you are unbeatable." Master Yuki tells the two brothers.

"Now, I want you two to try to focus your energy, into one cohesive force, and I want you to try and hit this target in the middle." instructs Kajor, who points to a wooden training dummy, with a bullseye target in the center. Ken fires a fireball, while Shawn tries to throw a barrage of ice spikes at the target, but their attacks cancel out and an explosion happens.

"What in the name of ?!" exclaims Master Yuki.

"We will help you become one guys!" Kajor assures them. Kajor sets up three more training dummies for Ken and Shawn. This time, the dummies are made out of steel.

"All right, this is what we are going to try, I want you two to try and synchronize your powers together, but I want you to focus on a particular memory, from your past." says Kajor. Shawn and Ken then close their eyes trying to find a memory, but they once again cancel each other out.

"Dammit, this is not working!" says Ken.

"Don't get discouraged, you just need to try harder." Kajor encourages.

"But how?" asks Ken.

"I think I know how..." says Master Yuki.

"What is it?" Shawn wonders.

"Let Kajor find a memory that's strong enough." says Master Yuki.

"All right guys, just relax..." says Kajor. He places his fingers on both brothers' foreheads and he sees a memory of their parents, celebrating Christmas with them.

"What was that? What did you just do to us?" asks Ken.

"I accessed the very corner of your memory system, it is a very beautiful memory that you both still have." says Kajor, wiping a tear away from his eye.

"I didn't know we still had that..." says Ken.

"I did, I've never forgotten how we came this far." says Shawn.

"There is so much more to you than you know. The strength you have as brothers is unlike anything I have ever encountered." Kajor then destroys the two dummies on the left and right, devising a plan for their synchronization to work.

"Well then, I want you two to hit this practice dummy in the middle, and try not to hit me or Master Yuki." Kajor instructs.

"Are you sure about this?" asks Ken.

"Yes, I am. I have complete and utter faith in you two." says Kajor. The two close their eyes and they successfully synchronize with each other. Using both of their energies, they fire a combined fireball blast of heat and cold at the dummy, destroying it.

"Excellent!" exclaims an elated Master Yuki.

"Well done, you two were phenomenal!" remarks Kajor.

"Thank you Kajor." says Ken.

"Don't thank me, thank each other. I just gave an extra push." Kajor says modestly.
