"Suitor?"
Cal swallows nervously, starting to regret bringing it up already. "Well yeah, I'm a demon, I'm technically royalty where I come from, an' I need a suitor so my family will stop pestering me." The demon scratched his head and watched Josh anxiously, crossing his legs and ignoring Friday, who was currently pawing his horns again.
"You picked me of all people as a suitor? Wait do we need to get married. Oh God please say we don't need to get married, sex I can do but marriage is a whole other level I'm only like nineteen dude," Josh's voice became higher as he spoke, putting his hands over his eyes and groaning again, "What the hell dude, why did you pick me? Is it just cause I'm gay?" This caused another snort from Cal, who simply shook his head, looking at Josh and blinking his yellow eyes innocently.
"I'll have you know, I would never do such a thing. Sure the fact that you're gay is helpful, but I was a professor in lots of places, trying to find someone, and you stuck out." He paused to growl at Friday, the cat now chewing on his ear, "I thought ya liked me? I mean, you did the ritual to summon me, and you don't seem that bothered about gettin' down and dirty with me eh?" Cal smirks as Josh flails again, coughing awkwardly and shoving Cal lightly. "Dude. You think I'm going to get in bed with even marry, someone I barely know, who's both a demon and my used-to-be professor?"
Cal fumbles with his hands and shrugs, "...yeees?" He noticed Josh's both annoyed and amused expression and sighs, "Hey I'm only doin' this to get my sister off my back, you seem attractive and I assumed you were interested too. But fine, if you're not then okay, you've still got me till you ask for somethin' or whatever though." He frowns and pushes Friday away from him, trying to get her to stop biting his feet. Cal internally face-palmed, not meaning to bring up this conversation yet, it was definitely a deal breaker. Not that he expected anything different to happen really.
Cal snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Josh sigh loudly and lift up Friday onto his lap. "I don't even know what to say, maybe this is just an elaborate story to get in my pants. That or it's true and you have a lack of standards huh? Well, either way, you must not have many standards dude." Josh snorted and buried his face into Friday's fur, ignoring Cal's annoyed snort. Sure, Cal was attractive, he had to admit that - and it's not like he hadn't uh, considered things when he met his new professor. But at the same time, a few days ago he didn't believe in demons and was ready to get into a relationship with some guy online. Suddenly having a demon in your home who wants to marry and possibly get in bed with you, who was also your professor and main man in your wishlist of experiences isn't exactly something easy to get your head around.
Josh sighed again, causing Cal to look up, "Hey, I didn't say you've gotta marry me or 'sex me up' right now, as much as I'd love too." He pauses for a moment and coughs awkwardly, "That an' I didn't say you had too. I'm not gonna force you ya know?" The demon frowned and shook his head, looking up at Josh who was chewing his lip while he thought. Eventually, Cal jumped as Josh's head shot up, looking down at him with puppy-dog eyes before shaking his head.
"I need some strong alcohol dude, my tiny brain is not prepared for things like this."
