"Well, it has come as no surprise to me. Humans are trying to wipe us out." Mammar says while the Masters of Elements and Covenant of Sins sit around a campfire as the moon shines brightly in the sky.
"That's a stretch..." Jordan scoffs at the fire demon, not buying any of his words that were spoken.
"Well, you can't really say that we are wrong." Leon says to Jordan.
"No, but we can't say that you're right either." Kajor agrees with what Jordan has said, thinking that Leon is taking the situation out of context.
"Why can't you just see things, from my perspective Kajor, we are striking back against the very people that are attacking us, yet you still have faith in them!" Leon scoffs.
"I'll take my chances with them..." Kajor states to Leon.
"But I won't..." Leon then looks at the tattoo on his hand while Master Yuki points his staff in Leon's face.
"You will follow me and my students, is that clear?" asks Master Yuki, with bass in his voice.
"Like I said, we'll play along, for now." Leon then sits in a relaxing position, to the annoyance of the Masters of Elements team.
"So what now, we can't stay here forever and there maybe thugs looking for us." Shawn reminds everyone.
"We'll go when the jet is ready." says Kajor.
"Not to worry peeps, the jet is ready, but it needs a jumpstart." Dominic suggests.
"Okay Trent, you know what to do." says Kajor.
"With pleasure." Trent smirks with excitement.
"Victor, assist him." orders Leon. Victor then gets up and he stands next to Trent ready to assist Trent in restarting the plane's engines and systems.
"Well, ladies first..." says Victor. Trent scoffs while he and Victor fire electricity at the jet, recharging its power to one hundred percent capacity.
"I'm actually impressed, you don't reek of a pansy scent." Victor insults Trent.
"Keep talking big guy, and you're gonna smell an ass kicking!" Trent warns Victor. Victor's only response was a sly smile.
"When morning hits, we move out. Once we meet up with Langston, we will plan our next move." says Kajor.
"What makes you think your human friend will comply with us?" asks Venus.
"He will. I got into contact with him minutes ago." Dominic says to the group while shutting off his wrist communicator.
"Very well, just so you know, I will do anything to save my race, even if it means sleeping with the enemy." says Leon. Moments later, while everyone is sleeping, Kajor is seen meditating in the distance. Leon approaches Kajor and he tries to talk to him.
"Just like your mother, always meditating. She has done some things in her past, that you would never condone." Leon tells Kajor, trying to get a reaction out of him. Kajor, however, stays perfectly calm not being phased by Leon's mind games.
"Well, my mother was not a saint, but she didn't trust you and for good reason." Kajor says.
"And you do?" wonders Leon.
"No, but I understand you, I may even respect you... you're a survivor, like me." Kajor continues to meditate, keeping his immense power at a steady level.
"Odd that you respect a person, you don't even trust." Leon laughs, thinking Kajor is naive for accepting a truce.
"It's odd how condescending you are, even in the face of annihilation." says Kajor.
"You amaze me Kajor, I really wish that we were on the same side of things." Leon tells him.
"Although we are combining forces, we don't want the same thing. You want to destroy and instill fear, I want to protect and give hope." Kajor reminds Leon of how different they really are.
"It's a pity, but I still have hope that you will change your mind about joining my side." as Leon walks away, Kajor continues to meditate, as the sound of crickets fills the air. Meanwhile, Bryant takes a walk through the forest. He then stumbles upon Carla, practicing with her Samurai Sword.
"Don't be shy..." Carla playfully calls to him. Bryant comes closer, as Carla puts her sword away.
"So, you were just, passing by?" asks Carla.
"More or less..." mumbles Bryant.
"Come on, if we're ever going to be friends, you gotta start being honest with me lover." Carla then starts to seductively touch Bryant's chest, hoping to feel an attraction from him.
"Sorry, but I don't make friends with a cuckoo clock crazy figure, like yourself. Not anymore at least." Bryant declares.
"I love it when you talk dirty baby, it just makes me hotter than hot." says Carla.
"Whatever. Just keep your distance from me. The next time I see you, your head will be mine." Bryant walks away while Carla just looks on longingly at him, sharpening her samurai sword. Meanwhile, Raven is training her Water skills for the coming mission, until Venus interrupts her.
"Your power has increased, but you are nowhere near my level of strength!" Venus arrogantly boasts, but Raven remains undeterred.
"Yeah? Tell that to the scar on your side." Raven fires back at Venus, reminding her of the battle of Miami.
"Hmm... so sharp, a woman who has been abused by her mother, witnessed her father's death... it has certainly taken a toll on you." says Venus.
"I know what you are trying to do, so cut the bullshit!" snarls Raven.
"What, I'm just saying that you've had it rough." Venus continues to try and anger Raven.
"Well, it's never easy growing up like you, put through horrendous initiation, tortured by rod and lash, being thrown into the wilderness as a young girl, only to return as a cold, callous, heartless being." Raven replies.
"I am a warrior through and through, and I will unleash years of anger onto humanity!" says an angered Venus.
"Don't be so sure, because if we cross paths again, I will give you a warriors death." Raven promises.
"Someday perhaps, but it will be fitting that when this is all behind us, you will fall before me!" declares Venus.
8 hours later, the sun comes up over Chicago. The Masters of Elements and The Covenant of Sins arrive safely in the city of downtown Chicago, unseen.
"Langston said that he will meet us here, he must have ran into some trouble." Kajor assumes, looking at the skies above.
"Or, he could be dead..." says Leon, as The rest of Kajor's team looks at him.
"It's just an assumption." says Leon. Moments later, Langston arrives in a jet, with his squad of agents.
"Odd seeing you all here. With a few familiar faces." says Langston.
"It's been a rough few days." Michael replies. Langston then walks up to Leon and he stands face to face with him.
"Look, you don't like me and I sure as hell don't like you, but, it looks like we're sticking together." Langston extends his hand out for a handshake of trust, but Leon declines the offer.
"Likewise, you won't have any problems from me." says Leon.
"So, what are you guys looking for?" asks Langston.
"We're trying to figure out what Briggs is up to with Project Eagle Eye." Kajor answers.
"Do you know, if she has a secret bunker here in the city?" wonders Jordan.
"My team managed to find an abandoned facility, near a railroad track to the east of here. We never looked inside, but that is our best bet." says Langston.
"We'll follow your lead..." says Kajor.
"All right, just try to keep up with me." Langston jokingly comments.
"Very funny Langston." Dominic says while adjusting the collar on his coat.
The team arrives at an abandoned railroad station, where they see multiple rusted trains surrounding the area from head to toe.
"Pretty odd place for a bunker." says Trent.
"If you are trying to make a place secret..."Michael goes inside a train and he presses a button that activates an opening in the ground.
"...You would have to make a passage secret." the team then goes in and the opening closes behind them, locking them inside.
"Okay, that was freaky..." says Ken.
"Stay on alert everyone." says Langston.
"There must be a switch somewhere." says Jordan. Vincent then finds a switch, and he presses it, to no effect.
"Yeah, that's not working." says Vincent. Victor sees another switch, to the left, near a door.
"Let's give this one a shot." Victor presses the switch and the lights emerge, revealing the contents of the hideout. High tech pods stand around the room, with a big computer screen that stands to the far left of the area.
"Well, it looks like somebody has been planning something." Carla looks around in awe of the facility that they have just found. Kajor then looks at a small computer, sitting on a nearby table.
"Guys, it looks like I found what we're looking for." Kajor activates the computer, while the others look on.
"Kajor, be careful!" cautions Raven.
"Initiate System?" asks The Computer, in a robotic like voice.
"Y...E...S, spells yes." says Kajor, who types in the letters, on the keyboard.
"This feels like a weird 1980's Science Fiction movie." says Raven.
"Hello, I have been expecting you all to come here today." says a gargantuan digital face, that stares coldly at the team.
"Ah, an advanced A.I. interface." says Leon.
"On the contrary, you are only half right, I am Eagle Eye." says The Digital Face.
"So, you were the project that Vader was building." says Kajor.
"Suprised? And here you thought I was only a collection of numbers and data." the team looks on in amazement over this interfaces appearance.
"Vader and The President said, that you were an algorithm of personal information." says Kajor.
"Correct, that I am. I can track any Elemental in the world, from far and wide." Eagle Eye explains to them.
"So tell us this, what does Briggs want with you?" asks Raven.
"To save the world, as she would put it." says Eagle Eye.
"How?" asks Dominic.
"Briggs has spent days, trying to figure out the Elemental Genome, and she finally came to a solution, she would use me as a catalyst, for her own personal algorithm system." the team are stunned with pure silence.
"So, she finds all of the Elementals, big deal, she won't be able to kill us all." says Victor.
"No, but she has something that does..." says Eagle Eye.
The mainframe then shows the team, a picture of two dozen Nuclear Warheads, pointing directly into the skies.
"What is this?" asks Mammar.
"This is the purpose of Briggs, she plans to wipe out all Elementals with these Warheads, and thanks to her algorithm, she will wipe out all of the Elementals, one continent at a time." says Eagle Eye.
"But in doing so, she'll destroy her own race." says Bryant.
"The Warheads are built with Nanotechnology, it will release nanites into the air, and after it explodes, the nanites will begin to chew away at the targets anatomy, killing it." says Eagle Eye. The team suddenly hears an alarm, blaring inside the hideout.
"What is that?" asks Venus.
"It's a countdown..." says Kajor.
"For what?" asks Vincent.
"...For a big boom, everybody out!" The team then tries to break through the door, but it remains sealed shut. Kajor then creates a force field, shielding his allies from the explosion, as Kajor protects his team, debris falls from the ceiling, and flames engulf the entire bunker.
