He was sharply dressed, but always adjusted his tie with the push of a button if he thought that it was crooked.

Abort mission! Steven thought. She kissed him on the cheek, and he felt the pang of warmth in him. They drove off to a nice grill spot at the bay. It had a great deal on chicken tacos, and they went for it.
About a half an hour past, and they were eating dessert. Lorraine looked into Steven’s eyes.
“You know, I’m kind of starting to get the fun that a date can be,” she paused, feeling bad for pickpocketing Steven, “but this isn’t a normal date isn’t it?”
Steven tried to feel for the ring box, but was startled to feel a flat terrain on his hip.
The kiss! She took it! Steven was scared shitless at how she would react. He looked at where she might’ve had it. Was it in her hand? Was she going to reveal it?
Would she hand it back to him?
Steven looked at her hand, and saw the radiant beauty of the sapphire gem encrusted inside of it. He saw the metal loop on her finger, and a single tear fell. She stood up, pulled him up, and starting yelling.
“YES! YES! YES!” she said, hoping to not hurt Steven.
Steven kissed her, and she dove downward in a tango position. The tables around them looked in confusion. Steven didn’t care. They paid for their bill, and Steven took her home. They spent the night together.
Steven felt euphoric, and Lorraine wondered what the hell she just agreed to.
