My hair is really dark brown, so it looks black, my face is completely white, and I blush easily.
"Why me?"
"You kinda remind me of her. You don't hafta if you-"
"I would love to be snow-white!"
Melody giggles.
"Anyways, we're making pudding today," Melody said, "Not regular pudding. It's kinda like flan. Our Mother makes it for us on Saturday. it's really good...and kinda difficult for beginners."
I slowed down my walking. "Are you and Chase actually siblings?" I asked. I felt super rude asking that, but I really wanted to know.
"Well, Chase and Devon'te are step-siblings, but I'm both of their sister. Our parents got married two months after they split up with their husband and wife, and they both had a one year old. They got married and had me a year later. My mom is from Japan and my Dad is from the states."
I gasped "Devon'te's your brother? I never knew." Melody smiles. "Here we are." I look ahead and we were in front of the center. We walked in and I had forgotten about Fable for a while.
Just as we arrived Chase made his entrance.
"Good evening, everyone." Chase said. "Has anyone heard of custard pudding?" Chase asked in front of us.
We all had confused looks on our faces. "It's kinda like the Japanese version of flan, except it's easier, I think."
It was stemmed pudding, and it had to be stemmed in a sauce-pan and other things. "Alright, you guys, gently and quickly flip it over on your plate." My hands were shaking, I was so nervous! I flipped it on the plate and closed my eyes. I slowly opened my eyes and saw a big blob of yellow and brown gelatin looking glob! I was shocked, because I was so confident in my pudding. I froze there and just stared at my deformed pudding then glanced at everyone else's and, of course, they were perfect.
"Whoa. Maybe we'll do this again, on Monday." Chase said.
"Why?! We did really well!" Amanda yelled.
"A lot of you got your puddings hard and some of you have under cooked puddings. None of you guys even got close. Oh well, we're going to have to practice, again." Chase said with a serious face. "Anyway, do you guys want to see how it's supposed to feel and taste?" He asked us, taking a tray out of a refrigerator.
We ran over and grab our cute puddings. "This is sooo beautiful!" I cried. Chase smirked. "Study the recipe, okay? We'll do better next time." Chase helped us clean up and was talking to us. I was the last to finish cleaning.
"Bye, Bernadette!" Chase said putting on his coat.
After he was gone, I slammed my face on the counters. Chase... makes me blush, because of his pure kindness.

I went online and bought a snow-white costume, that came with a wig, of which, I thought I didn't need. I looked okay, but after comparing my hair to the wig, I realized my hair isn't as dark as I originally thought it was. I asked Bonnie for advice, but she was too busy dressing up herself.
"How do I look?" Bonnie asked me, (ignoring my question).
"Could you help me slightly trim my hair? To you know, snow-white's length?"
Bonnie rolled her eyes. "Your hair is alright! Now, can you tell me how I look, because Lyrical said I look ugly!"
I wanted to say something rude, but instead I reply flatly.
"Okay."
Bonnie smirked. "I know, right!?" Bonnie was dressed as a pirate princess, and she looked super cute. The seventeenth had come and Bonnie and I were not getting along. Mainly, because she's was acting super bratty.
"You look absolutely stunning!" Florence gawked at Bonnie, like she was wearing her prom dress or something. I felt like crying, I wanted someone to call me pretty, too. Or even cute or beautiful! Maybe I'm just too spoiled and needy.
"All you need now is an apple." My mother said walking up the stairs. Bonnie, Florence, Lyrical and I were up stairs, waiting for Lyrical to get out of the bathroom.
"What's the matter, sweetie?" My Mother asked.
I felt panicky, because at the last minute the acid spitting butterflies came back. I hadn't been to a party since I was four, and I stayed in a closet the entire time.
"Oh no..." My Mother stroked my head; I swatted her hand away.
"Not another weird panic-attack." Bonnie said. "BTW, don't ware that costume, it looks a little bit on the cheap side."
My Mother grinds her teeth angrily then hissed, "Florence! Control your daughter!" Florence looked at me for a good five minutes before speaking.
