Arc 3

Angelo and the Cars 3 and 4 ran outside into the station. “M-my sister?” Angelo responded, “They probably are inside.” Carter was filled with relief. Carter rushed forward into the station with the others.

Mike tried to open the Car 8 door. Everyone was gathered there. Cars 9,10,11, and 12 have all been infected. “It’s been slammed shut.” Dawn called Carter.

Carter was running with the other survivors. “Dawn? Dawn are you with the military? I’m coming!” “No. We are stuck! But the TV here in the train says that Washington is infected! Where are you? Where’d we stop?”

Carter stopped jogging. The Car 3 members stopped as well. “Dawn… i’ll call you back.” He ended the call. Car 4 members rushed forward and ran down the stairs. “Why’d we stop?” Kevin said. Suddenly, shrill screams pierced the air. “Go back up! GO BACK UP!” Car 3 ran upstairs, while Kevin stole a look down the stairs. A civilian from Car 4 was being eaten by infected, as infected started chasing the Car 3 members. “RUN! RUN!” Two of the baseball players ran outside, but they were immediately tackled by zombies. Danny stopped and stared at his teammates being eaten. “Sybill? Ronan?” Anthony and Leah ran forward. “C’mon!” Angelo pushed Danny forward,”MOVE YOU IDIOT!” They ran towards the third car, while Carter ran for 8. Many people ran in, but half of them were being eaten. Gary carried Jessica, and jumped on the train. The train started, leaving Angelo, Danny, Kevin, Anthony, Leah, a student named Leo, and Carter, running for their lives. They ran for Car 9’s door. Angelo grabbed the handle, and budged it open. Leah and Anthony ran inside as well. He then jumped in and started reaching his hand for Danny, who got inside. Leo was next, and he got in swiftly. Angelo reached out his hand, and Carter ran as fast as he could. “Hurry! HURRY!” Carter got on. “Kevin! Give me your hand!” Kevin grabbed his hand and got on. They closed the door, and the train pulled out of Washington. Angelo opened his mouth to speak but Leo covered it. He was staring at something, or someone. Angelo turned around, and he saw a bunch of zombies.

He stared at the washroom. Angelo moved quietly to the washroom. Angelo motioned for the others to follow. Leo and Danny got in. A zombie spotted them and rushed towards them. Carter pushed Angelo and Kevin into the washroom and ran in. The zombie suddenly stopped. Angelo and Kevin took a breather. “Next time, we should take their phone numbers.” Angelo laughed. “I noticed when the zombies look for humans, they can’t see the dark.” Kevin replied,”So they have sight deficiency?” “Yeah. But i’m pretty sure their sound is heightened. One sense down, the others become more powerful…” Angelo became quiet. “And I also saw these in movies.” Kevin laughed. Angelo looked at his phone. “The next tunnel comes in five, and ends in four minutes.” Kevin looked at his watch. “We should tell the others.” The train passed through the tunnel. Kevin slowly walked out, and opened the other washroom. Kevin told them the plan, then gestured for Angelo to lead. Angelo walked outside and walked through the car. He realized dozens of zombies were blocking the vestibule door. Leo grabbed his bat and knocked on the washroom door. The zombies ran towards the washroom door and the others moved out of the way. Dawn and Mike were in Car 8. A man named Isaac took control of the car. “Is everyone ok?” Dawn nodded her head. Isaac looked at the vestibule doors.

Angelo attempted to open the vestibule door of Car 8. Kevin was approaching Car 9’s door and was about to close it. “It won’t open…” The Train suddenly went out of the tunnel and light was shown on them. Kevin rushed and tried to slam the door but infected put their hands through and jammed the door. “Ackk…. I CANT CLOSE IT.” Danny tried to help Kevin by smashing the zombie hands. Kevin slipped his hand and put it to close to the opening of the door, a zombie tried to eat his hand but Danny smashed it down. Kevin put his hand back and tried to crush their hands. Leah tried to help, but Danny pushed her back. “Don’t! It’s safer for you there.” Leah nodded her head and went back, while Anthony ran forward to help. Angelo started to smash the door. He hit it repeatedly, each hit doing tremendous damage. “OPEN. THE. DOOR!!!!!!!!!!!!” The glass cracked and the vestibule door broke into pieces. Angelo rushed forward and tried to open the other door. Isaac from the other side tried to help. “Are you guys ok?!” Angelo yelled back, “We have a situation!!!” The vestibule door was closed shut. Angelo attempted to smash it again, but a zombie jumped out to infect him. Leo suddenly jumped in the way and the zombie tackled him and started to infect him. “H-hurry…” Angelo continued to smash the door. Isaac started to kick the door as well. Mike suddenly punched him down. “STOP! You’ll infect us all!” Angelo just continued to try to break the door. Anthony started pushing the zombies back but his bat broke and the zombies started biting his arms. He screamed in pain. “Run Danny! Run! Please!” Danny stared at him. “ You were a good friend Danny,” Anthony tried to choke back tears,” ...Old guy, take him and RUN!” Kevin grabbed Danny and took him to the vestibule, Anthony held the door down but it broke, causing him to use his body as a shield. He let the zombies consume his flesh, crying as he remembered the times he had with his friends. Kevin walked over to help Angelo. Angelo almost had the door broken, but the zombie on the floor lunged at him. Kevin smashed it into the washroom, and held it shut. Infected Leo suddenly got up and bit Kevin. He and Leo fell into the washroom, which Danny slammed the door shut. Angelo broke the room down, and Mike released his fist flying into Angelo’s face who fell into Danny, who both fell into the washroom. Leah started to scream and attempt to run into the washroom. She ran into the wrong one, and infected Kevin and the other zombie started to bite her neck. She screamed once more, and the washroom slammed closed. Everyone was becoming infected. Carter ran in and went straight towards Dawn. Mike looked at them and said, “NO! We are all gonna-!” A zombie tackled Mike and infected him. The zombie ripped the flesh of his arm off. Mike started to scream in pain. Isaac was tackled by several zombies as well. They ripped him open, his chest spilling blood and guts. He yelled a scream of suffering, as he slowly turned from his human side. Carter told Dawn to go under the seat. His eyes were tearful,”I don’t have time. Go to Canada.”

Angelo and Danny were in the washroom, and heard banging outside. People were screaming. Angelo locked the door.There was banging. All over the two cars, there was screaming. Yelling for their families, their loved ones, their possessions, their lives.
