Kanami arrived at Grandview Academy a half an hour late. “Crap! Professor Mellion is going to make me water the hedges with an eye dropper again!” She said as she quickly tucked her broom into her locker. As she did her lock slipped out of her hands and tumbled to the floor. “I don’t have time for this!” She thought then quickly looked around to make sure no one was watching. Then she flicked her finger at the lock on the ground and spoke to it. “Clauditis stricta!” The lock flew up to the locker and snapped shut.

She turned and begin to sprint down the hallway to her class room. Right as Kanami rounded the corner she ran into something and was propelled backwards a good three feet where she landed on her butt with a thud. “Ouch! What in the world did I hit?” Kanami exclaimed! She stood up and looked in front of her which to her surprise there was a young witch all a mess on the ground. Kanami stood there for a minute, she was taken back by the witches long braided hair. It was a light blonde, you’d almost say white and her skin was pale but her eyes where a crystal clear blue. She compared them to her own green eyes and brown hair and found she was rather plain in comparison to the other witch. The witch stared up at kanami and shouted “Hmph! Well I guess it’s asking to much to help someone up you knocked down!” With that the witch sat up and started to gather up her magic books and papers, and begin to stand up. Kanami ran over “ I am so sorry! I didn’t see you. I was in a rush.” She said and grabbed the witches arm to help her up. The witch straightened out her dress and hat. Kanami notice she had roses and stars embedded on her hat and dress. She thought they were a lot prettier than her plain black and purple dress and old brown hat. The witch turned to kanami and stuck out her hand. “Annalise Ostradon. And you are?” Kanami quickly took her hand and shock it saying. “Kanami Kenchi. It’s a pleasure to meet you! Though I’m sorry about what happened before hand. Your not hurt are you?” Annalise released Kanami’s hand and looked down at Kanami and quickly turned her back facing Kanami ,then replied in a rattled voice “ No, I’m fine but you might want to fix that.” With that she pointed behind her with out looking. Kanami look down at her dress and to her horror she found the bottom hem of her dress had some how got hung on the Potions For Healing book in her hand. Kanami quickly fixed her dress. She could feel her face getting hot. “Great Kanami, you meet someone new and you do this!” She thought to her self. “There all fixed, sorry about that.” Kanami told Annalise. Annalise carefully turned around making sure her curl toed boots didn’t hit each other. “Umm yes, well that’s better, uh I must get to class then.” Annalise said to her, her face also flushed. Kanami nodded then walked pasted her to go to the classroom to embarrassed to look back.
