Levi's pov- It took a couple hours before the Dr. came out and told me that I was allowed to see him in his room. I rushed down the hall excited to see Eren. "Eren baby how are you feeling now?" He looked over at me and smiled taking my hand in his pale weak one. "I'm not going to make it my love." He said softly reminding me of a different time that I had forgotten up until now. "No Eren don't say that okay. Your going to be okay I promise." He shook his head and I started to cry harder. "Eren I wanted to get you a gift for our five year anniversary today." Before he could say anything I took out two rings and placed one on his hand and looked at him. "There Promise Rings you make a promise when you wear it." Eren just looked at me not saying a word and I couldn't at the time but I soon realized he had passed away. "I promise to never forget you..." I said softly as I brushed his hair away from his eyes and then softly closed them.

Eren's pov- One minute Levi was next to me and we were talking and the next I was standing next to my body look down at my boyfriend who was crying. I smiled softly and hugged him from behind whispering in his ear though I was sure he couldn't hear me. "My promise to you is that I'll never leave your side again." I said softly and did as I said. I stayed with him always watching over him. In some way I knew that he was aware of me being there because he would often talk to me and try to get me to show my self. I could never do it though because I knew if he saw me he would want to join me and I didn't want to ask him to do that for me. So I choose to say hidden all the way up till that one faithful day when I couldn't hide any longer from him.
