Bronze arrived at the marked place that turned out to be a dead end. He then looks around the end wall, he thought there's some kind of hidden doors or a clue. After searching for quite some time, suddenly a spear flying towards him. The spear hits the wall right next to Bronze, it stuck there with just only a few centimeters from his head. The spear is made from iron, with steel blade as spearhead, its wrapped in cloth like bandage to get a better grip on it.

 Bronze looked at the spear in shock and instinctively grab his knife from his back, it was the only knife that looked different than the rest he have, it also looks bigger.

Bronze looking at direction where the spear is coming from and saw a stoic faced looking girl with tattered army outfit and short gray ashen hair, holding another spear in her left hand.

"Vali!? What's the meaning of this!? You almost killed me!" 

"It's time to 'Explain'."

Bronze in confusion demanding an explanation. But Vali asking him instead with her eyes glaring at him, ready to kill.

"Explain..? explain what?"

"Your true intention of joining us."

"What? It's because you... Hemeth asked me of course! Besides, I wanted to help that's all."

"If I wanted to hit you, you'd be dead already. Don't think the next one will miss."

"She's right... how could I be so careless. Being suddenly killed like that is just unthinkable."He thought. Bronze then raised his hand while dropping his knife.

"Chill for a second will ya?"

"I am chill, now explain."

"I know you might don't like me, but attacking teammate like this? You've gone too far."

"Tempered teammate."

"Tempered? I thought I never angry or upset or anything yet, in fact I am a very calm person so far."

"...It's not that."

"....??" Bronze never looked so confused.

"Don't play dumb Bronze, I saw you ready to attack me back then at Eimas, when I about to drop you out." 

Vali moving the conversation, pretending the last one never happened. Her stoic looks is still the same, unwavering.

"That's because!..." 

Bronze was about to tell her the reason but stopped. 

"Wait a minute.. this might be a perfect chance to find out if Vali is actually a 'super-human' or not, If she is then I'm screwed. But, there's a good chance she's just a normal person so lets bet on that." He thought.

"What?" Asked Vali.

Bronze then suddenly moved, he crouching fast and took his dropped knife.

"Oh?" Said Vali while raised her right eyebrow. thinking that Bronze is indeed an enemy after all.

Bronze move towards Vali slowly, he make a side step as a show off to tell Vali how fast he is.

"You might be good at aiming Vali, but moving object is entirely different case."

Vali still aiming at Bronze proud face with her spear, but the distance would make it easy for him to dodge and Bronze seemed pretty agile too, He looks very confident to dodge anything Vali threw.

"You're right."

After saying that with her stoic response, Vali suddenly make a dash towards him.

Looking at Vali getting closer, Bronze stop his movement and  took a step back then work his stance, ready for the imminent attack from Vali. 

Vali stretch her left arm, shoving her spear right to Bronze shoulder, but he moved to the side and cut the tip of the spear with the knife in his hand while avoiding. Vali eyes widened for a split second when she saw how easily the blade cut off the iron spear. She dashed fast towards the end wall so Bronze cant continue his attack on her back, then turn around at him while looking at her iron stick that used to be a spear, as the sound of the fallen spearhead is heard.

"Shocked? This is no ordinary 'blade', it cut through metal like mud, pretty amazing eh?" Explained Bronze, he looked quite proud with it.

The 'Clip Point Blade' he used is made of 'Obsidian', It's a fancy looking black blade with leather grip on it.

"I see."

Vali then picked the other spear on the wall that she threw earlier at Bronze. She hold the spear in her right hand while holding the iron stick in her left hand, and then dashed again after that.

Bronze working his stance again, ready to greet Vali incoming attack. Before they clash, Vali threw her spear. Bronze saw the incoming spear and moved his shoulder. He succeed avoiding the spear, but it grazed one of his belt and cut it.

The belt was circling Bronze shoulder to his chest and waist with another same belt in other shoulder, making 'X' mark at his chest. Now it's sticking out in the middle, dropping a few small knifes inside it, but it doesn't matter to him, he focused on Vali movement.

Vali then threw her iron stick towards Bronze and dashed faster, boosting her speed. Bronze slashed the iron stick again into half with his 'Obsidian Blade', distracted by a mere second with the stick, Vali was already right in front of him.

He then slashed again at Vali. Vali then slide, dodging Bronze attack while picking the fallen spearhead beneath him at the same time. She was looking at it since when it was cutted before, then pulled Bronze ripped belt , forcing his upper body and more importantly, his neck to go down towards the steel spearhead she hold.

Bronze was forced to keep looking up, as the sharp spearhead touching his neck from beneath, he really thought it's the end.

"Explain."

"H-huh...? Y-yeah!! I will! I will! Just don't kill me !" Plead Bronze while dropping his obsidian dagger, he has a very pale face with cold sweat dripping from his forehead, he also shaking from trying to keep his position.

"Why you after Hemeth?

"Hemeth? Why Hemeth?"

"You seems want to dispose of me badly, so you must be after Hemeth."

"What!? No! It's not Hemeth at all!"

"So your group wanted me dead?"

"G-group? what group?"

"The one called themselves Gold, Silver... Platinum."

"No! I'm not grouping with them! Not anymore at least!"

"So..."

"Look... just stop asking and let me explain! So please put that thing away from my neck! I can't even see you!" Bronze wanted to speak normally, in such situation he can't helped but to shout in panic.

"Declined, go on."

"W-well... it was YOU! I was after you not Hemeth!"

"So "Morgue" send you to kill me?"

"Morgue!? No! it's my own decision! I got interested in you, I thought you are one of the 'superhuman' Valiarth!"

Vali took a stop asking him and wondering about what just Bronze said, leaving him tortured in that position for a good few seconds. Her forehead wrinkled as she had no idea about it.

"...Superhuman? Valiarth? What are you talking about?"

"Aren't you from the surface!?"

"No I am not."

"Then why you wearing 'THAT'!?

"That...?" Vali changed her gaze, looking at her tattered clothing. "Oh, my outfit?"

"Yeah that!"

"This is a memento from my father, he's the one that goes to the surface."

"So he's superhuman!?"

"Are you stupid? Surface is toxic. He's dead... eventually."

"...My deepest apologize. Now, since this is clearly a misunderstanding can you please lower your weapon!? Said Bronze looked very exhausted with his current position.

Vali then moved aside from Bronze and stand, She was reluctant to do it. But, it'll be bad if Bronze fell over and died for no reason. 

While Bronze falls over from his stance laying at the ground, he then sit leaning to the wall nearby. Bronze then explained further to Vali that he was only joining them because it could be his best chance to go below level six with a 'super human'. He then also explain to clueless Vali about the 'super human'. 

"They were seen fifteen years ago, suddenly came from the surface. People were trying to arrest them only to find out they are all very strong, strong enough to killed people in one bare hit or even lift multiple people that trying to arrest them with rope. They all went missing after the incident, it was meaningless to fight them, hence they were called 'vyrath' or 'Valiarth' which means 'meaningless'."

"And their intention?" Asked Vali.

"I don't know, it was unsure whether they were good or evil, since back then they only act on self-defence."

"How did you know it was self-defense?"

"I was there back then, just a little lad playing around. I will never forget what happened."

Vali thought about it for a while, then start looking at Bronze, staring at him.

"It was fifteen years ago, how'd you assume I was one of them?" 

"Huh?" 

Bronze took quite a paused before he realized the meaning and weight of that question. 

"... Oh! WELL they are 'super human' you know? They could be even immortal too! so 'looks' wont be changed I guess!" 

Bronze looks intimidated and panicked with Vali glares, He wouldn't dare to tell her all of it was based on mere rumour or worse.

"So your only reason is my outfit."

"K...kinda.."

"Since it's clear now, you can go leave us alone then. Oh and I'm taking this 'Dagger' as my spear replacement."

Looking at Vali picked his dropped fancy Obsidian knife, Bronze suddenly stands up.

"Wait!! at least let me stay in the group! just until your 'other' friend is recovered."

"So you knew about Bony.. but what for?"

"It's the least I can do, I'm really sorry for lying to you."

Vali think a bit while looking at Bronze bowed at her, this time he looked sincere. Besides, a good partner is very hard to comes by, so she allowed him.

"You should apologize to Hemeth instead, Hemeth is the one that trusted you."

"I will, So... is that mean you will forgive me?"

"I'm still taking this dagger though."

"..."

"She mentioned Morgue... but seems to called bronze,silver,gold as "group" so she still don't know. Gambits... are here too, that could be mean the "battle" was happened near this town. ... But, more importantly i have to retake that knife..." Thought Bronze, he then follows Vali that already quite far from him.

Vali then lead Bronze to the inn where they going to stay for a while, people at the inn seems quite fond of Vali. They all friendly and knows her. Vali and Bronze then goes to their room where they found Hemeth still laying on the bed sleeping. Bronze keep looking down, staring at Vali ever since the fight, on her waist in particular. Not because he shocked he lost but because the black dagger attached on it, it seems the 'Black dagger' is a very important weapon  to him.
