"You're sure it hasn't already?" I'm about to wrench my arm out of his grip and go find Sam, but before I can, we're cornered by another guy. He's tall and buff, with aqua and gold streaks in his jet black hair. He's grinning at us, but doesn't seem to notice me at all, despite all of Sam's attempts to dress me like a prostitute. Instead, he's all for Jordan. "Well, hello. I wasn't aware that we had booked models. I'm Xander." He raises his eyes at me and Jordan, and then looks at our intertwined hands. his lip curls. "So how long have you and your boyfriend been together, sweetheart?" He asks me. My eyes widen. "O-oh, he's not my- I mean, we're not-" "Not together?" He finishes for me. "Y-yeah. That," I squeak. Xander smirks down at me, before grabbing Jordan by the arm and dragging him over to a corner. "Then that means I get this gorgeous man all to myself. What's your name, honey?" "Jordan," he responds, letting himself be dragged over to a bar stool. He looks back at me and pumps his fist, looking triumphant. Well, great. the only two people I can trust to bring me home are either going to be drunk, or sucking someone's face off by the time we actually start to think about leaving. Yippee. I go to the bar (Why do they even have a bar?) and get a drink. There's a couple making out on my left, so I decide to pull out my phone and scroll through the internet until this is over. "Rough Night?" I hear someone ask. "Yeah," I say without looking up. Worse case is, whoever this is will get the message that I'm not interested, and go away. ''Well," he says, sitting down next to me, "maybe I have a way to make it better." I look up. Oh, great. He's hot. Now this guys gonna think that I'm okay with going upstairs to have sex with him. He grins when he catches me looking, and says, "I'm Rob." I look him in the eye and say, "I'm sorry, but I'm not really interested." He looks taken aback. "Well, now. That's a bit forward. I didn't even say anything that warranted that kind of response." I keep staring him down. "You didn't have to. I could see through your whole 'nice guy' act in a second. Now go away." He's trying desperately to keep it together, but I can tell that he's not going to last very long. "Look, let's just be friends here. You look gorgeous, and I wouldn't want to spoil that pretty little face of yours because of a couple smart ass comments." I'm actually starting to get a little scared. "I told you. Whatever it is you're offering, I want none of it. Leave me alone." Oh, great. Now he's pissed. "Alright, you little bitch," he says, "You're going to come with me, and we're going to have a fun little time upstairs, got it?" He grabs my arm. "Let go of me!" I look around for someone who could help, but the music's too loud, and everyone's too drunk to care. I try to look for Sam, but then remember that she's not even in this room. Jordan and that Xander guy are too busy making out in a corner to care, which means that I'm stuck with this guy. He leans in; and I can smell the booze on his breath. "No one here to help you, is there? Just come with me, and know one will ever know." I'm struggling, but it's no use. I'm sizing this guy up, trying to find where the best place to kick him would be, when a new voice cuts through the music and shouting and Rob's heavy breathing, and says, "That's enough. Let her go." I look up, and have just enough time to say, "What?" Before I'm shoved to the ground.
