“There you guys are!” I said, sitting up. “I was getting worried.”

“sorry it took so long, someone was asking a lot of questions.” Sans looked over at Sarah.

“Heh, sorry. We had to talk about some things.”

“That's okay,” I said. “We should probably get home to Toriel though, it's getting late.”

“we may have a solution to your problem kid, but if that's what you want then i guess.” Sans shrugged.

“Okay.” I said. “We'll solve the problem tomorrow. I'm tired, and I think I can deal with Chara one more time.” I said, though truthfully I was scared at what she would say to me tonight.

“bye kids.” Sans waved and headed off into his room.

Sarah and I headed back to Toriel’s for the night. Flowey popped up as we were leaving. “You guys took forever. While you were gone a bee attacked me. I had to fend for my life!” He said. “What were you two even doing?”

“Having a tea party.” I said sarcastically. “What happened is I fainted, and Chara came back!”

“Hm. Sounds fun.” Flowey smiled.

“Yeah, it was great. Come on, we’re going to Toriel’s.” We walked and got there about half an hour after the sun went down.

“My children!” Toriel said when she opened the door, “Where have you been?”

“With Sans.” Sarah said.

“Well, if you were with Sans, then I guess it was all right. Just promise me that you won't stay out so late again.”

“Yes, Toriel.” We both said, then went to bed.

“Frisk? Quit hiding. I will always find you.”

“Go away Chara.” I said, facing her, trying to put a brave face on. Truly, I was trembling. I didn't know if she could hurt me in my dreams or not.

“But Frisk, we’ve barely even started our game yet. Let’s reset, and erase this world.”

“I won't do it.” I said defiantly.

“You don't know when to quit. Fine then.” She disappeared. I looked around, but didn't see her. Then I woke up.

I sat up, rubbing my eyes and looking around. Sarah was still asleep though she was twitching, and then she started talking. “Stop. No, I won't do it. Stop! PLEASE STOP!” She woke up, then started crying. “Frisk! Frisk, make her stop!” Sarah just kept yelling and crying. Toriel rushed in.

“Frisk, what is wrong with Sarah?” She asked me, horror in her eyes.

“I have an idea, but I need Sans. Can you go get him?”

“Of course my child.” And she quickly rushed out of the room.

About ten minutes later she rushed back into the house with Sans.

“what’s wrong?!”

I looked at Toriel, knowing this was going to shock her more than me, and looked at Sans. “In the middle of my dream, she just left. Now I think she’s in Sarah.”

“Who? Who’s in Sarah?” Toriel asked, confused and worried.

“Chara.” I said. “Chara is possessing Sarah.”

“if you two are sisters, then it could be possible….”

“What could be possible?” I asked, wanting to help Sarah any way I could.

“we need to put sarah in the determination extractor right now!”

“But it’s all the way in the true lab!” I exclaimed. “Can you even teleport more than one person? Also, is her soul even strong enough?”

Suddenly, Sarah’s eyes went red, and Chara’s voice exited out. “You think you can stop me so easily?” She said. “It’s going to be a lot harder. After all, the game’s just beginning.”

“yeah, i think we can stop you. i’ve defeated you at least a hundred times before.” Sans said almost unphased.

“Yes, but in the end, it was I who won, wasn't it?” Chara said, smiling.

“Leave my friends alone, and release my sister!” I shouted to Chara.

“No.” She replied.

“and if you die, then you won't be able to reset because only frisk can reset.”

“Sans,” I said, turning to him. “We can't kill her. She’s in Sarah’s body. That’d kill Sarah too.”

“well, yeah, but i can still do this.” Sans summoned a blue bone cage around Chara.

“I can't be stopped as easily as that.” Chara said. “I can possess any one of you. Plus, I also have a friend.”

“Pfft, who’d want to be friends with you?” I said.

“Howdy!”

“Oh, crud.” I said, before even turning around.

“You know, there are a lot of humans here above ground. A lot of human souls just waiting to be taken!” Flowey did one of his evil smiles.

“I trusted you!” I screamed at him. “Why would you do this? I hope you're happy, because you just showed everyone here how much of a monster you truly are! Including your own mother!”
