Cade
"Yo, Cade! You alive in there, man? Andrew made breakfast if you want any!" I groan and roll over. What happened? the last thing that I can remember about last night was the girl I met. Damn. That was interesting. Unlike any other girl at that party, she didn't seem ready to strip naked for any guy that approached her. I look over at my nightstand, and grab my phone. Sure enough, when I scroll through my contacts list, there's her number. Alice, huh? Maybe I should give her a call, just to make sure she's alright. Oh, God, what the hell's wrong with me? Normally whenever I get a girl's number I just forget about it. Then again, whenever I get a girl's number, I'm also to drunk to remember said girl was. But there was something just plain different about her. "Yeah, I'll be down in a sec!" Dismissing my thoughts, I grab a shirt and some jeans, and yank them on, before going downstairs. When I get there, I see that pretty much three of the eight guys that live in this house are downstairs. "Must've been some night, huh?" I go to grab a seat. "Wouldn't you know. Max said that he saw you go upstairs with some random chick sitting at the bar last night. What happened, anyway? Or more accurately, why are you still here?" Dammit, I've gone and done it now. "I didn't sleep with her. We talked for a couple hours, and then she got drunk, so I drove her home." The memory makes me smile. "Oooh, someone's smitten. You sure that wasn't everything that happened last night?" I sigh and roll my eyes. I knew something like this would happen. "Yes, that is all that happened. I took her home and her roommate answered the door. Then I came back here and crashed, until you miserable bastards woke me up. Happy now?" "Mmhm." Max smirks at me through a mouthful of Eggo waffles. "You know what? I'm not actually that hungry. I'm going back to sleep." I go back upstairs and sit on my bed, but when I sit back on my bed, sleep doesn't come. I look over at the clock on my wall. 12:00. Damn. No wonder Max was being so unbearable. I slept in till noon. I sigh and pick up my phone. "Hi, Alice? It's Cade, the guy that you met at the party last night. Do you want to go get lunch?"
