I believe this is what the letter says, there is one word I cannot quite make out though and I am not positive on the name at the bottom.
"My dearest brother, my better half, Mathias. I pray to our eternal father this letter finds you safe.
These past hours have vexed my mind and the unrest I feel can only be attributed to our ? connection.
