Priscilla aimed the gun at her head, and moved the gun slightly to the left, and fired. The zombie behind her blasted back, and fell into the vast forest.
She dusted herself off, looking in every direction. She grabbed a dead soldiers gun. The sun was about to go down, so she started to move in the direction the van was going. She wanted answers. She wanted to know what group abducted her. She saw the same sign a while back. Back when Madison was still alive. They killed you, they shot you dead…. The memory of her lifeless eyes jolted Priscilla in action. She kept walking.
Her boots pounded the dirt floor. She was sweating as she jogged the path ahead of her. The moon shined brightly in the night. She had already come into contact with zombies, but no humans were in sight. A thought suddenly hit her. She could have just driven the van. She mentally kicked herself, not realizing what she could have done. She had already ran for what seemed like two hours. “Should I run back? God, I’m so stupid!” She decided to continue.
One hour had passed, and she collapsed. She was breathing heavily now, no food, no water. If a zombie wants to kill me, kill me. Put me out of my damn misery… She was suffering so much pain. She started to crawl towards the forest. She rolled over the edge of the path, and tumbled into the forest.
Thirty minutes had passed. There were cuts all over her, blood dropping to the floor. She lied on the grassy ground, rocks providing much discomfort. She was shifting around, but her energy was low. Her tongue was dry, and her throat burning. Her legs would not work with her, as if her legs went into shut down mode. She was dying. I made a bad choice… She looked to the side, at her arm. She blacked out.
