Few Hours later Hemeth woke up. Hemeth yawn, scrubbing their eyes and then notice a girl is sleeping in the bed next to them, she is Vali. Hemeth still looks disoriented. He stared at Vali for few minutes until finally heads to the bathroom. Hemeth then took a nice time singing (Note : Hemeth is singing a childish song) while showering, feeling refreshed Hemeth decide having a snack that they got for free from the innkeeper. It's a bitter sweet crunchy biscuit in a shape of Watcher.

"What a weird choice for a cookies." Hemeth thought, then proceed eating it.

"Good things it's free thought, so we can stock it for later." Mumbles Hemeth while took another bite.

"Hemeth." 

Another person voice is heard and it was Vali, She looks at Hemeth while frowning.

Hemeth turns around and gasping "Vali!? Uhh... you startled me. I thought you were sleeping."

"I was, until i heard someone singing in the bathroom."

"You... heard? I'm so sorry if that woke you up." Said Hemeth, he looked embarassed. Probably because the song he sang.

"That aside... picking freebies for supply stocking is kinda..." Vali with a weird looks toward Hemeth was about to finish her sentence, but got interrupted.

"N-NO! I mean! just one or two! I mean not hauling evrything of course! that would be very RUDE towards the innkeeper!" Said Hemeth while looked like they is about to explode.

"One or two...? for a supply..?" Hemeth seems to not make any sense at this point, She thought.

"Riight..." Said Vali, looks confused.

Hemeth goes silent for a few seconds, searching a way for distraction 

"A-anyway! where's Bronze? Did you bring him here?"

Vali suddenly put a serious looks on her face, it's like Hemeth seems to hit right on her nerves. 

 "Yeah about that, you might want to see him now. He wants to have a 'word' with you."

"Sure, but where is he?"

"I don't know I was sleeping. He should be nearby, I'm still tired."

"Sure.. I'll go! You... continue resting, good! right? don't worry about the cookies!" Said Hemeth awkwardly while 'awkwardly' leaving the room.

"...Yes." Said Vali, but Hemeth seems can't hear it anymore.

"Is Hemeth finally broke?" She then thought.

Hemeth running from his embarrassment start asking people about Bronze where about while still looking awkwardly.

"Don't worry about the cookies?" Murmured Vali after Hemeth leave the room. She then took a dagger from beneath her pillow and looking at it with her stoic face. The dagger has black color and fancy looking, it has leather grip on it.

" I wonder how important is this thing to him?" She said while faintly smiling, you can barely see it on her face. 

Vali then put the dagger back under her pillow and put her head on top of it, proceed with her resting time.

Hemeth still looking awkward, wonders around the inn while occasionally asking people if they saw weird guy with a lot of belts surrounding him. But, no one saw Bronze. Hemeth later found him by themselves at the balcony, no wonder no one fits his description on Bronze since he's not wearing any belt at all at the moment.

"Mr.Bronze!" Said Hemeth while panting.

"Yo, hello there Hemeth! why the long face?"

"It's nothing... I just a bit exhausted searching for you all over the place."

"Well... you don't have to run... unless it's urgent?" Said Bronze looked worry with Hemeth.

"It.. doesn't matter right now."

"So? What's the news?"

"Huh? Vali said there's something you wanted to tell me?"

"Wow Vali bring Hemeth alone like this? I thought she would be still wary at me." Bronze thought, of course he didn't said that out loud.

"Right..."

Hemeth finnaly catch their breath and looks at Bronze seriously."So?"

"Well... listen up."

Bronze told what happened in detail to Hemeth, he also told about 'Valiarth' and 'Superhuman' thing. Hemeth at first looked shocked about it. But, looks happy after Bronze confession, since it turns out he's not a bad guy after all.

"...And that's why I'am Very sorry for lying to you Hemeth." Said Bronze finishing up his story with a face of regrets.

"N-no I'm the one should be sorry for dragging you onto this!"

"You kidding? Did this guy just forgive me?" Bronze thought, Of course he didn't said that out loud. 

 "... For real?"

"Huh? Yeah!...I know Vali can be extreme at times but I didn't know she could be that 'extreme'."

"Tell me about it, almost died there."Said Bronze agreed with Hemeth, this time He looks relieved.

Hemeth then goes to the edge of the balcony and looks up the sky. It was usual gloomy light that seems eternally shine.

"So the 'Valiarth' and 'superhuman' thing actually exist huh?"

"Seen it with my own eyes." Confirmed Bronze, he never been so sure in his life.

Hemeth had known about Valiarth or superhuman before, but only think of it as myth or legends or even made up story to cover up the truth about many incident, especially the one that happened 15 years ago.

"It's quite something you suspect Vali for an incident that happened 15 years ago. I mean... she should be still a baby during that time right...?"

"Haha.. I wouldn't dare telling her based on how old she is or else, my death would be swift." Said Bronze half-joking half-serious.

"I just thought they were immortal or had very long lifespan you know?"

"I'm actually Envy you Mr.Bronze."Said Hemeth suddenly.

"Huh?"

"Even thought you got attacked and all, I think it'll makes you a lot closer to Vali for trusting you, perhaps even more than I am." Said Hemeth looked melancholic while still staring up.

"Heh! Don't be silly, the reason she attacked me was because she wants to protect you."

"Oh no, not at all."

"Huh?" Bronze looked confused with Hemeth replies.

"What she wants to protect is her 'Partner', her 'Teammates', person she can trust and work with. Which means by now you would be counted as one, or even more."

"Even more? What's that suppose to mean?"

"You see... even though we had known each other for a while, this is the first time I've heard about her past. We never really knew about each other."

"Didn't you've been with her for many months already?"

"Well... two months. The first month were basically total silence, we never talk at all aside for hunting purposes, we both wary at each other. There were bad teammates from time to times too, they run and steals but no one goes far as attacking us yet though.

"I see.. that makes me the first one then."Said Bronze jokingly.

"Has it also happened to you? Runaway or stealer comrade like that?"

"Nope I'm always work alone for most of the time, so never happened. You should try it sometimes." Suggest Bronze jokingly again.

"I don't think I can manage if alone, not yet at least." Said Hemeth looks either worried or confused, Hemeth just dont know how to react to that suggestion.

"Anyway...it was few weeks later we finnaly had conversation when we discussed our newest member 'Domy' he was the only decent teammates we've had so far, and talking was easier ever since."

"Sometimes you need to do a leap of faith first to trust someone, like what you do to me."

"Yeah... I guess. That's why I envy you, since she told you something I've never knew till now."

"I almost died to make her told me you know? So that seems fair."

Hemeth expression changed with Bronze continuously not -so-funny joke.

"I... guess? but about her dad going to surface? I'm feeling I forgetting something really important here.."

"What do you mean?"

"There's this whole family that... actually nevermind." Hemeth seems to noticed something and stopped.

"Huh?"

"Is superhuman thing is even exist since long time ago?"

"Hmmm... actually no, it was new thing since fifteen years ago. I had some ancient books, but there's nothing mentioning about 'Superhuman'.

"Right.. you have many old books, may I read it?"

"Sure-sure! but its copied one though all of it, since the original books can't be read without translator."

"There's someone who can read old civilization words?"

"There is! in fact we are acquaintance, too bad we can't speak or hear the ancient language word though"

"Well.. that's makes sense, since its only written."

"Indeed."

"So what's the books you have is about?"

"Heh... even it's translated I'm still confused at most part, it said things like weather, winds all sort of natural phenomenon."

"Sound amazing."

"Really? you should check it yourself then, tell me if you found out cool stuff."

"Now that you mention it... I never actually learn how or where the wind started to blow."

"Eh..? Maybe the rocks is breathing, you know? since they everywhere?"

".... That's sounds weird heheh, well anyway I never suspected you to be a bad person Mr.Bronze." Said Hemeth smiling.

"Really? Why's that?"

"Because that little girl thanked you of course!"

Bronze was looked unexpected but changed drastically as he facepalming his face after he listened Hemeth logic of 'trust'. 

"Hemeth... you know, you really should be more careful. Who knows that girl was with me all along? If you think it that way, it's very dangerous."

"Eh? said Hemeth paused, then turn around looking at bronze." But if you put it that way, Isn't Vali action actually make sense?"

"That indeed, knowing her she never trusted me since the very beginning."

"But you didn't scheming Mr.Bronze! So that's not matter I guess." Said Hemeth in denial.

"Makes her not so 'Extreme' anymore right? it was all on me."

Hearing what Bronze said Hemeth calmed down and start brighten up as usual again. "Anyway aren't you tired Mr.Bronze? You should rest too."

"Nah I'm good, already sleep at the ranch remember?"

"Oh right! but... it should be terrible on a bench like that." Hemeth insisted Bronze, worrying him.

"I'm an adventurer, we sleep anywhere and get used to it. Besides..."

"Yes?"

"I haven't actually had a room here."

"Well you can use my bed, its available."

"What? with Vali next to me? I'll get nightmare." Said Bronze, He turned pale all of sudden.

Hemeth then chuckled at Bronze reaction." Haha yeah, but... she looked pretty cute when sleep though."

"She looked like boy." Bronze said with straight face."Gotta look at her properly to realized."

"She might murder you if you said that to her." Said Hemeth while heading back to the inn.

"Seriously... that kid that thanked me is actually indeed part of the plan, so they trusted me more. In a way it does work... they fully trusted me now." Thought Bronze." 

But it seems the plan went backfired instead." He said, then followed Hemeth back to the inn with a smirk on his face.
