I used to hate the world.
With my stride
My song
My very heartbeat,
I tore through the void,
Screaming until my voice was no more than a mere echo.
Shoulders shaking, my heart on my sleeve.
I lived to spite the world,
Clinging onto the hope that I would one day rise above them all.
Once, upon a midsummer dream I was happy
A young princess dancing down castle halls,
Joy spilling into each room, out onto the garden
I was wanted.
Now,
I no longer hate,
My wants cease to exist.
For I am dead to the world,
And for evil, my ways are only good
