I've been in your place, any time I had "extra money" (Like $20 to blow) It went into a little emergency fund for either moving to a better place, it just barely happened last year. You work hard. It doesn't help that the cost of living is higher than what you're paid, making you feel like you're not working hard enough because making due isn' happening. But you really REALLY are, and you're taking time to tell us stories. For that, Thank you! I'm sorry life is dealing you out hard, have you looked into getting a roommate to help lower rent? Or perhaps cutting certain services/food habits to help? I hope your year gets better. Some artists get breaks, but it's rare and usually even then not great breaks or breaks in fields they don't usually sit in. Just hang in there, see if there's cheaper housing options or something to help alleviate some stress. But don't think you don't work hard enough. :)
