When Mother had opened her door, Mary rushed to her- wrapping her arms around Mothers slender leg and burying her face into the green fur.
"Mother," Mary looked up at Mother Virgo, tears shimmering in her blue eyes. "I don't want him to go!"
Mother scooped up her pink cheeb in her arms, cradling her as if she were an infant again.
"Mary, my dearest," Mary looked into Mothers deer like face. The ever-present orb hovering behind her glimmered a warm rosy color, and Mother's face seemed to fill all of Mary's vision.
"I know this doesn't happen often, but I'm running out of time..." Her voice was deep and raspy per usual but seemed to reverberate deeper in Mary's mind, and her eyelids felt heavy.
"I promise, you will understand all in the morning..."
Before realizing she wasn't in Mother's arms anymore, Mary found herself tucked into bed. A warm buzz filled her body and Mother's face filled her mind.
