There’s nothing

No air to breathe

No sights to see

There’s nothing but the blub blub blub

Of the air trapped in my body

Reaching up toward the sky

Am I reaching?

I can’t tell anymore

I’m not falling

I’m not floating

I’m doing nothing

And there’s nothing to do

Everything has already been done

The slip

The tumble

The splash

Am I cold?

Or am I the only source of heat?

Am I alone?

Or are there others like me here?

I’m not sure

I know nothing

Nothing but this watery grave
