Bergen, early morning. A plane lands on a foggy runway with a soft touch. Not long after, a larger group of people walk into an empty baggage claim area. In the corner, Symmetra stands, barely awake and with her hair loose, which she almost never does. Her scrunchie around her wrist for easy access. She yawned. Beside her, Torbjörn was unconscious on the uncomfortable chair.
Symmetra opened her eyes with discomfort and hardship every other minute. She looked with jealousy on the dead asleep Torbjörn. After a while, she noted a bag on the conveyor belt. She reluctantly dragged herself across the floor, and took the bag off the belt and over her shoulder. She dropped it in front of Torbjörn and went back to snoozing. When she looked up after a moment, she noticed her own bag on the belt. She walked over and took it over her shoulder - then she woke up Torbjörn and they walked out.
They arrived at the hotel and both jumped into bed immediately. 3 hours later, Symmetras phone alarm went off - she had set it when they were in the cab. She walked out in the bathroom and the shower started running - Torbjörn grabbed the landline phone and called room service for some coffee and grape juice and brunch if possible, since it was early afternoon.
Symmetra came out of the bathroom with a towel around her head, to the best smell in the world after waking up: fresh bread and coffee, even that she didn't drink coffee, the smell was awesome to wake up with. She was hungry, so food was perfect right now. One of the reasons she loved and adored Torbjörn this much is how good he was at just knowing stuff like this. She ruffled his hair and kissed him on the cheek, then went on to eat.
They looked at each other with the “can we?” look. She opened her bag and looked for a moment, to find a scanning device. She let it run for a little while and then said “we can talk”. Torbjörn told about the real reason Winston was on the Moon with Zenyatta: Omnics, and possibly Talon members, was on Mars, seeking refuge there.
Without mentioning Sombra’s plans to make a heist, Symmetra told him that there might be something more to it. She wanted to help Sombra as she could be in trouble with Talon but it could be bigger than just between her and Talon, maybe even related to whatever was going on on Mars. Torbjörn mumbled in deep thought. He walked out and the shower started yet again - Symmetra noticed the Nutella mini pack and grabbed it. She opened it and then began to smear a neatly layer of the smooth creamy chocolate on a small piece of bread.
When Torbjörn came back from the shower, he said that the best option they had was to make contact with Winston. He wanted to know more, most of all being able to talk to Sombra and ask her questions before then. The next best person to take contact to now would be Reinhardt, but he was running the Inn with Brigitte currently, so he wanted to know much more before asking Reinhardt to join in. Symmetra said she would have to talk to Sombra first, but that she would try and talk her into meeting up with Torbjörn later that day.
They parted ways as Torbjörn had a few errands that he could do in Bergen. Symmetra headed for the mall in deep thought. She hadn't had any time to read up on Talon or on the bank that Sombra wanted to break into. On the contrary to Sombra, Symmetra had consciousness so she wanted to steal from the right people, not people that needed the money or good people who poured money into good deeds such as charity or local work for the community. Sombra couldn't care less, and this was the only pet peeve Symmetra had against Sombra.
Symmetra found the cafe and ordered a cup of herbal tea. She let her mind wander for a while, when suddenly she had Sombras voice in her ear and a soft touch on her shoulder. She jumped, then smiled. Sombra didn’t look well. She looked stressed on the verge of being paranoid and she looked frantically around. Symmetra looked at her, worried. Sombra ordered a glass of water and began to talk - but it was about everything and nothing. Alright, so she didn't want to talk here. Symmetra looked at her with a crooked smile, which in turn made Sombra stop mid-sentence with a surprised face. Both then started laughing.
They walked over to the gaming arcade and found a co-op game to play, and it was one of those closed ones, simulating a car. While it didn't had windows so it wasn't completely shut from the room, it made it harder for someone to try and listen or lip-read. While they were playing, Sombra started talking. She needed Symmetra to be a second set of eyes while she would break into the virtual bank vault of digitized money, and Symmetra made it clear about her morale about who to take money from. Sombra finally agreed to do the background check.
They played some more. Symmetra got impatient, let go of the controller and turned to Sombra. “Now start talking. Something is clearly wrong, and I can’t help if you don’t tell me. I’m not going anywhere until you’ve indulged me”. Sombra froze, then slowly she turned around, and looked into Symmetras eyes, and what she found was a friendly, warm look but without any pity or worry. She didn’t expect that. She also let go of the controller, then laid back, exhaling of exhaustion.
She had problems with Talon and she knew that some members were on Mars, but some were still on Earth. Reaper and Widowmaker was still left back to keep eyes on happenings on Earth - but she had also picked up that why they asked to be the ones back on the blue planet. They weren't happy with her, felt they had been embarrassed by her, especially Reaper was dead set on finding Sombra to “have a little chat”. And everyone that knows Mr. Reyes, know that when he wants to “talk”, it won’t be pretty.
