The meat I bought was enough to last until tomorrow lunch. I was preparing the ingredients when I felt Dai-chan staring at me from the table. Maybe he wants to assist in cooking?
"Dai-chan, please peel the potatoes," was what I instructed but he turned the potato into a cube.
"The skin is gone, right?" He said and proceeded to do the same thing to other potatoes.
"NOOO! YOU ARE MURDERING POTATO-SAN! Drop the knife, Dai-chan. DROP THE KNIFE!"
"E-eh? Okay, what else should I do?"
Hm, what can he do? I won't let him touch the knife or the stove.
Oh!
"Cook the rice. You know how to do that, right?"
"Uh, you put the rice in the rice cooker?" He asked. I nodded. Good, now onto the curry. . .
I chopped the meat (any meat will do but I bought chicken because they were on sale) and vegetables into chunks and seasoned the chicken with about half a teaspoon of salt and pepper.
Wait, why am I smelling fire. . .
"DAI-CHAN WHAT THE HECK?!"
"You said to put the rice in the rice cooker!"
He did put rice in the rice cooker. Just the rice. Without water.
"Apologize to the farmers, Dai-chan, you just wasted rice. Just sit down somewhere while I cook. You are not allowed to touch anything." I hit him in the head with a spatula.
For the rest of the recipe on how to cook the curry, you could just search it on Google.
