Symmetra told Sombra about her meet with Torbjörn on the plane, that he might be able to help and that they might need to take contact to other Overwatch members. Sombra wasn’t happy about the idea - not only because she doesn’t like to share, but she was also embarrassed.

She didn’t expect Talon to catch on her little sidemove in Russia. She had blackmailed Volskaya and threatened her to her compliance - when in fact the Talon mission was primary to kill her. Sombra had her own agenda, so she ruined the organizations mission. She wasn’t happy about more people knowing the story.

She reluctantly agreed to meet with Torbjörn, but with no promises of this story going to more ears. Hoping Torbjörn was someone to trust. She wanted to know more, so she asked a lot about him and Symmetra complied with the request. She told her about his family, his personality, how they met, and how he was a man of honor. Most of the time that is - he had a crude humor.

They laughed a bit together over some of the stories that Symmetra told, of his jokes and finally Sombra agreed to meet with Torbjörn.

Symmetra and Sombra met up with Torbjörn, and they exchanged the knowledge they had, mostly about Talon. Sombra told about Russia and Volskaya. She needed Volskaya to put pressure on a corrupt government, not on Talon, but she knew that Talon was nervous about her “defecting” the organization. Volskaya used to work with them but wanted out - which would explain the assassination attempt that Sombra thwarted.

Torbjörn told about Overwatch keeping a close eye on Mars from the Moon. Sombra verified that a bunch, if not most of Talon, was on Mars. She had been attempting to keep a close eye on the remaining members, no less because that they were looking for her. She had lost track of them a few weeks ago and she hadn’t had the nerve to look for them too elaborate - she didn’t wanted Reaper and Widowmaker to find her first.

Suddenly Symmetra saw something move fast outside, and Sombra noticed her eyes move - she used her cloak ability, and before Symmetra could react, a bullet hit the back of the chair - then she reacted quickly, she saw the trajectory so she made the assumption the shooter was on a balcony on the other side of the street. She quickly raised a shield of light and grabbed Torbjörns hand, and they ran out the back.

They ran outside into the alley behind the restaurant, and as they closed the door, Sombra de-cloaked at the far end of the alley. They looked around, quickly realising they had to get away and fast - they made the assumption that the quick movement outside was Reaper and the bullet from the balcony was Widowmaker. They started to run down the alley, out into open street. As they reached the street a hand grabbed Sombra and started to pull her. Realising this was Reaper, Symmetra pulled out her light gun - which she normally doesn’t carry, but she knew meeting up with Sombra almost always means trouble - and pointed it at Reaper.

Torbjörn had also built his turret. Reaper looked at them, snarling angrily “My quarrel isn’t with you.” Symmetra kept her gun pointing at him. He knew what it was capable of doing and it was far from pleasant. Symmetra smiled. “I’ve upgraded it since our last encounter. I haven’t tested it yet, and I’ve been looking for the opportunity.” He looked at Symmetra, then he looked at Torbjörn, then on the turret, pointing at him. He snarled, knowing that he was outmanned. Widowmaker had to bounce after the first shot, as the police had been notified - he was alone.

Still holding Sombra firm in his hand, he turned his head and looked at her. “Grrr. All I want to know, my dear Sombra, is why. What can Volskaya possibly be to you?” Sombra smiled - she knew that there was no way that he would do anything to her with Torbjörn and Symmetra having their weapons pointed at him. “I need her alive. She knows certain things and knows certain people that I need as well”. Reaper reluctantly released his grip on her arm.

He turned his back to the trio, full knowing about the weapons, but also that they would never fire on someone who didn’t pose a threat in the immediate moment. He walked down the street, calling up Widowmaker on the interlink. “Widowmaker, where are you? I was outmanned” - the cold voice in the other end responded “You know the drill. When I shoot in public places, there’s only one chance for the bullet to hit - I have to get away from the area fast after pulling the trigger, mon ami”

He snarled and cut the connection.
