Destiny rushed to the Headmaster’s Quarters along with Mr Purrington after hearing the scream. To her surprise, everyone was there before her.
“First time seeing the Oracle late,” said Ace of Spades, “Is something wrong?”
“Everyone make mistakes,” answered Destiny in a harsh tone, “Now, what happened?”
The Headmasters stood aside, revealing a statue of a man with his mouth wide opened. Destiny walked to the statue, closely inspecting it.
“This is no statue,” said Destiny, “He’s petrified.”
“I’m afraid you’re right, this man here is Zaniel Garde, the Protector of the Eon Shield,” answered the Headmaster of the Green Arts, “The Eon Shield is one of the three relics that was used to defeat the evil warlord during the War.”
“The good news is that the attacker did not have enough time to steal the Eon Shield yet,” the Headmaster of the Blue Arts added, “But there are two other relics and their respective protectors in danger.”
“I couldn’t foresee his death but the plan came in my vision,” said Destiny.
“So here’s the plan, junior students go back to home, the Headmasters and seniors with the exception N, Schawn, Evelyn and Ace of Spades will take turns on the school defence,” said Destiny, “You four will split up into two groups to go bring back the relics to Magiride.”
“Us? Are you sure about that?” asked Evelyn.
“Yes, I’m pretty serious about this,” answered Destiny.
“The first relic is the Emblem of the Frost Legion,” continued Destiny, “It’s located at the tallest mountain in the north, Everfrost.”
“The second one is the Flare Stone,” said Mr Purrington, “It’s located somewhere in the great rainforest Zamona.”
That’s…, that’s where…, thought Schawn.
“Ok, I will go get the emblem with Ace of Spades,” said Evelyn, interrupting Schawn.
“Ok, then I will go with N to the rainforest,” continued Schawn trying his best to sound confident.
“The journey won’t be as easy as it seems, there are people who hate us because of historic reasons, there are people who wants to stop us and of course there will also be allies and friends,” said Destiny, “So to make things a little bit easier, here is the emblem of the academy, take one each.”
“If you ever meet someone who also has this, they are most likely our allies,” Destiny continued, “These also will guarantee you guys no trouble with the border guards.”
“Oh yeah I almost forgot, the north is cold and some people there don’t really like magic, the rainforest on the other hand is hot and humid and also fill with dangerous animals and the some of the aborigines there hate magic,” Destiny added.
“Guess that’s all for the briefing, now go pack your stuff,” said the four Headmasters.
