Alex's POV

I heard a few voices and slowly opened my eyes. I sat up and rubbed eyes before yawning. “Morning sleeping beauty.” I turned my head to see D with a plate of breakfast in her hands. “What time is it?” I groaned rubbing my head and stretched. “7:59.” I snapped my eyes open. “Aw crap, we’re late why didn't you tell me!?” I yelled and jumped out of bed. I heard her laugh softly and stopped. “It's Saturday idiot.” I stopped searching through my closet and went back to my bed flopping on it. “Ugh, I hate you sometimes.” I sighed hearing her giggle and kiss my nose. “There, there. You know you love me.” I chuckled softly and kissed her forehead head. I got out of bed and went to go put some fresh clothes on. “So are we going anywhere special today?” I asked and went to her bathroom. “Um...I was thinking of going to South Lake to find me a new beanie. The ones around here suck.” She huffed and flopped on her bed. I chuckled softly hearing her complain. She really loves those things. As soon as I finished, I walked out the bathroom to see D holding a cup of hot chocolate and I also smelled pumpkin spice. “How’d you get this? I dropped it last night when I passed out.” I saw her eyes almost filled with tears until she wiped them away. “Last night, Jack had brought you back home when you were knocked out. And I believe somewhere around 7am, I heard a knock at the door and he was standing right there with two cups of hot chocolate and two others filled with coffee.” I thought for a moment and rubbed my head then snapped. “Crap where’s the cat!?” I screamed. I heard her giggle again and then I heard a soft meow. I looked around for the furry feline. I looked at D to ask her but I laughed softly as soon as I saw a cute little black kitten on her chest meowing repeatedly. I picked it up and nuzzled it. “I’m glad you're ok.” I smiled. D smiled and walked downstairs. I followed her with the kitten on my shoulder as it quickly scrambled into my hair. I chuckled and sat down at the table with everyone else. “ALEX, YOUR ALIVE!!” Shay squealed and ran up to hug me. I smiled softly and ran a hand through her hair. “Quick question: Who brought this kitten home?” I asked pointing to the kitten that was still in my hair. Everyone shrugged until once again D giggled. “Jack did.” I sighed softly. “Anyway, let's get going so we can eat and buy stuff.” D smiled and grabbed her keys. Everyone cheered and followed her. I smiled and got into the car with everyone. As D started the engine and drove off, I rolled the window down and breathed in the fresh air. ‘Ah, it feels good to feel the wind on my face.'

No POV

As the walked towards the mall, everyone went different ways. While D and Alex were together, the girl was on sugar when she ran to the beanies. Alex chuckled softly and went to get them something to eat. He went upstairs to get him some pretzels and dip while he got D some cheesecake. Once he got them, he went back downstairs and looked around for a bit. 'it's nice to be back in here.' He smiled to himself. As he walked downstairs, he sat on the bench and waited for D to pop up. Sooner or later, she didn’t pop up like she normally would. He guessed she walked off to look for him. He stood up and walked back upstairs to look for her. He looked around and called out for her. Now normally they'd do mating calls but eh...Alex hated getting weird looks. While he was looking for her, he bumped into a hard chest with a squeak. "Heh, that's a cute squeak coming from a fag." Alex yelled and backed off almost falling off the escalator. Of course, the one and only Jackson and his gang of assholes. "What do you want Jackson, I'm not in the mood to play these games." Alex groaned while staring at the taller male. He let out a soft chuckle and walked closer towards Alex while Alex took a few steps back. Once he reached the escalator, he turned and took off running. "HEY! Come back here you runt!" Jackson yelled and ran after him as the others went separate ways. 'What a cliché word.' Alex chuckled to himself while running still. After a few minutes of chasing him, Jackson's group gave up and went outside to wait while Jackson was still inside the mall hunting Alex down like a predator. While Alex was wandering the mall with his hood over his head, he sat down on a nearby bench and sighed. 'why is it always me?' He groaned and ran a hand through his hair. "Someone's a bit tired." A voice next to him chuckled. Alex snapped his eyes open and turned to see Jack sitting next to him with a Starbucks coffee cup. "H-How long have you been here!?" He squeaked. Jack looked at him from the corner of his eye and smirked. "The whole time ever since you got here." Alex shivered at his words. He hated hearing his words when he had that stupid smirk on his face. "W-Whatever." He muttered cursing himself for stuttering. He chuckled softly and pulled him closer. "You look like a girl from this angle." He replied causing the smaller male to blush darkly and punch him in the chest. "S-Shut up..." He muttered. Jack chuckled before hearing someone yelling and turned his head. "Heh, looks like he's looking for you." Alex squeaked and got up to run but Jack pulled him down. "I got a better idea." Alex raised a brow and was about to ask what he meant but before he could speak, Jack grabbed him by the face and kissed him causing Alex's whole face to turn red. While this continued, Jackson had passed by looking around. Jack kissed him deeper while Alex was getting red to the point his ears started to burn. Once he left, Jack pulled back and looked at Alex's red face while cupping his cheeks. "I--I hate you so much." He groaned. Jack chuckled but when he was about to speak until a chuckle had interrupted their moment. They both turned to see D smirking. "Had fun boys~?" Jack frowned and stood walking towards her then wrapped his arm around her waist and lifted her chin. "Yes and you ruined it." He growled. Alex sighed and ripped the two from each other. "Can we go now?" He whined tugging at her arm. She chuckled and walked out with him following behind. "Bye Jack-a-boy!" She yelled and walked out. Jack scoffed and started walking back to Starbucks. He sat down and rubbed his neck. "I saw that boss." He looked up at one of his members who had a smirk on his face. "Shut up before I wipe that fucking smirk off your face." He chuckled and gave him another cup of coffee. "Your usual black coffee with whip cream." He smiled and went back to get the other customers. He sighed softly and took a sip of his drink and smiled. "Hey Ben." The blond male turned towards him. "Yeah?" Jack smirked and looked down at his cup. "Ask John to stalk the kid for a bit." Ben blinked and shrugged before taking his phone out. Jack sighed and sipped his drink again. 'I can't wait to give him a surprise.' He smiled to himself and drunk the rest of his coffee. He set the cup down and threw his jacket over his shoulder. "Oi, he said that he put cameras in their house." Ben yelled out. Jack's eye twitched in annoyance. "That idiot...oh well. Thanks for the info." He yelled back and walked out. He took out his phone and plugged in his music. "Welp, time to head back and think about tonight's plans."
