I sighed and turned my back to the family photo. "Will you be attending the ball?" One of my father's assistant's asked me but once again I had no say in it. ":Of course my son is going to the ball. What kind of silly question is that to ask." My father gave a disgusted look in my general direction causing me to shift my gaze to the ground. Before my dad walked off he gave an order for the maids to fit me the ball tomorrow night. Right away the maids grabbed me and rushed me off to get fitted into my costume for the ball. They had me stand in a dressing room well they measured my body for the clothes. Another maid picked out different masks and held them out for me to choose. "How about this one?" It was cat mask much like the one I had made by hand. I sighed not really caring at that point. "Any mask will do really Lilian." I said getting a look from her as well.

"Oh alright but just this one time Adrien." I perked up and thanked her a bunch before I ran out of the room and into my room. I ran to my bed and pulled out a box from under it taking the lid off to relive a cat like suit and cape along with clip on cat ears and bell and black cat mask."It's been awhile world..." I mumbled to my self with a small smile on my face as I put the clothes on. "Chat Noir is back though...." I ran to the hall way and poked my head out to make sure the coast was clear for me to sneak out and then I locked the door and jumped out my bedroom window. It had been so very long since I last went into town and saw how my soon to be kingdom was doing.

After about an hour of being yelled at by Aliya I walked home. "Hey watch out!" A man dressed in black yelled out as he shoved me out of the way of a run away carriage. I was in shock from the scene that had just played out in slow motion for me for awhile but was soon drawn back to reality but a voice calling out to me. I looked up to see a boy about my age who was dressed up like a cat. I was highly confused now as to who he was and why he was hovering over me like a stray animal. Though in some odd way it made him really cute. "Are you okay? My Lady!" He got off me and did a small bow making me laugh. I blushed slightly and nodded then quickly spoke up. "Y-y-yes thank you! Um...." I paused when I realized I didn't even know his name. "You can call me your knight in shinning armor or Chat Noir My lady." He gave me a wink making me blush again for some reason. "Right well then I should be going." I thanked him again and waved him a good bye. I turned my back for a moment to check something and when I looked back he was gone just like a dream.
