Morning
Ravissant Police, City Centre, Ravissant Brotherhood.
The Ravissant police had rounded up all of the assassins from the Trade Market. Lucifer had been extremely corporative when the gods threatened to strip him of his powers. Having spilled the beans, it was relatively easy for the gods to inform the police and make them do all the work.
Falcon was hand-cuffed to the wall, having lost his powers the second Lucifer was defeated by Jacques, who’d become the head of the Elites, and had the highest position in the Warriors category for his age.
A tall dark man entered the police station. He approached Falcon, and looked at him disappointedly. “Henry…” Falcon muttered.
His friend continue to stare, ashamed at Falcon. “I had to do it,” Falcon tried to justify his crime. “My business was-”
“Shame on you,” Henry finally said. “I expected better from you,” and he left the station, leaving Falcon to thrash about in his chains furiously.

Morning
Noble Apartments, Freedom Avenue, Ravissant Brotherhood.
Jacques was getting ready. The head of the three categories were going to hold a meeting to select candidates for the new parliament. As the head of the Warriors, he was honoured to perform this task.
As he brushed his hair and straightened his tie, Raitoningu appeared in a whoosh of light.
“You should stop doing that,” he laughed. Raitoningu smiled. “So you’re going to select the future nobles,” she noted. “I’m glad I gave the power to someone worthy.”
“Actually,” Jacques realised. “Wouldn’t it have been better if you gave the all the leaders your power? That way we could prevent any rebellions.”
The Goddess of Lightning sighed. “Do you know how to kill a god?” she asked.
Jacques looked at her, confused. “Aren’t gods omnipotent and immortal?”
“Not at all,” she corrected. “We don’t have the power to attack man. The only way we can interfere with humanity is by bestowing our power to them. The only problem is, a god can be killed, but only by his/her own element. This prevents the gods from killing each other.”
“I see,” Jacques said. “And you’re afraid that you might give your power to someone evil, and they might use it to kill you. But what happens once you kill a god?”
“You take over the mantle of the god,” she declared, to Jacques’ surprise. “This is why people would want to do it. You’ll be immortal, as long as you don’t empower another human.”
“Wow that’s tricky,” Jacques laughed. “Lucky for you I’m not God-cidal.”

Noon
Ravissant Parliament, Peacock Road, Ravissant Brotherhood
Roi Knox sat at the noble’s table, alone, waiting for the three Heads. He had spent the past week grieving over the loss of his closest friends, because of his decision to increase the tax rate.
He was so glad that the Gods intervened in the middle of the assassination attempt, that he had immediately constructed a shrine to honour the gods. He had signed an executive order to halve the tax rate, while slightly increasing the cost of daily products. The general public found this acceptable.
He looked up as Jacques and the other two heads entered the meeting room. Sitting down, Jacob (Head of the Nobles) immediately opened debate. The rest of the afternoon was a series of suggestions, justifications and arguments. By evening, they had made a list of 10 candidates to be nominated for voting by the citizens of the Brotherhood.

Noon
City Centre, Ravissant Brotherhood.
The presidents and the Heads were seated at the high table, in front of a crowd who were impatiently awaiting the list of eligibles.
As Hèrve (Head of Futurists) opened his mouth to speak, suddenly, the Goddess of Lightning crashed onto the stage. Standing up, Jacques ran to her side.
She was panting, a panicked look in her eyes. “Lucifer,” she groaned, and Jacques felt instantly uneasy. “Lucifer killed the God of Armageddon and escaped!”
“WHAT?” the president shouted and cowered in fear.
Ignoring him, Jacques asked as calmly as possible, “Where did he escape to?”
Raitoningu muttered, “We don’t know. Now that he’s a God, he has complete access to the Armageddon abilities, which include crossing dimensions and travel through time. He could be in a parallel universe or in the future by now.”
“And you can’t do this?” Jacques questioned. Raitoningu shook her head. “That God is one of the best among us.”
“Great,” Jacques paced nervously up and down the stage, processing the new complications. “Just great.”
