Sky was laying down next to Mercy; staring at the sky. She saw a star shoot across the sky for the first time; she knew that it was a wishing star, just like the ones she read about in her mothers books. Sky hugged a picture of her parents as she closed her eyes and wished. Everything was silent and still as she opened her eyes to find a beautiful woman sitting on a swing, she cried silently as Sky approached her "E-Excuse me ma'am" she said so softly that a mouse could barely hear. The woman looked at Sky and smiled with joy "My lovely Sky, oh how I missed you".

Sky looked confused before looking at the picture she was holding to realize the woman was her mother. Sky became to cry as she hugged the woman tightly "Mother you're here. My wish came true" she said in between sobs. The woman stroked Sky's hair "You've grown so much my child", she said softly. Sky looked at her mother and cried "Papa is gone now I'm alone", The woman giggled softly to herself " My child you are not alone for I have sent Mercy to you to keep you safe and happy. Now hurry my child before Mercy wakes up and worries about you" she said before kissing Sky's forehead and disappearing.
