The alarm sounded out it's annoying electronic beeps, its response being a delicate hand smashing all its buttons down at once to shut it off. The alarm was offended, but undamaged.

The owner of the delicate hand slowly sat up in bed and stretched her arms out, severely groggy from her slumber. She swung her feet over the edge of the bed, hitting the cold, hardwood flooring. Padding across the space of her studio apartment, she grabbed some cat food and poured it into a small, silvery dish.

As the food was being dispensed, a small tinkling sound could be heard, heralding the presence of a small, orange tabby cat. Its ears were scratched by human fingers as it snacked on its meal.

The girl got herself a small bowl of cereal before heading to the bathroom for her shower.
