Ryuu's POV
She cuts off the end of her sentence and walks into the room. She looks at us nervously and waits for Kuro to turn and face her. Kalan and Khidell look at her in confusion, while I can’t help but stare at her beauty, Kuro seems like he knows the reason already, but I'm too distracted by her to really think about it. She has straight black, waist long hair with red tips, soft yet sharp features and a comfortable air about her. She has a red fox pelt, tied around her neck, covering her chest, but leaving her stomach exposed above the wolf pelt she is wearing as a skirt. Her legs below mid-thigh are bare and seem hairless, but I don't see any sign of hair removal. The bear pelt she wears as a cloak, is lying between her shoulder blades, useless. Her eyes are magical, they are a piercing red and the color is constantly moving, swirling about slitted pupils, kind of like Kuro's silver ones, but her pupils are slit.
As she stands before all four of us now, we wait impatiently for her to continue. She takes a deep breath and reveals a fluffy black tail with a red tip and black wolf ears. The tail makes its way out of the bear pelt, while her ears unbury themselves from her thick hair. We stare at her unimpressed, but curious none-the-less. What's so bad about having an unfinished human form that she was chased out of the territory? I never thought an incomplete human form could look better than a finished one, but she makes it look natural.
It's Kuro that breaks the silence, “So you’re incomplete, what about it?” he shrugs. She looks to the side and scratches the back of her head with an expression of nervousness. We each are about to ask another question when she reveals something that none of us were expecting, not even the apathetic Khidell. She expands giant black dragon wings with red barbs on the curves. She looks back at us and puts her hand down. She folds her wings against her back and waits for us to say something with a wary expression. We all seem to stand and rush to her side at the same time. Kuro stares at her wings in awe while Kalan is actually enamored with someone else’s looks besides his own for once. Khidell looks at her with pity and pats her head, his ultimate sign of affection, which is surprising in and of itself, since she is the taboo, a hybrid demon. Most were sentenced to death upon birth, since they were deemed too unstable to keep around. I go to my bag and pull out some clothes that should fit her without the wings, mostly to distract myself from how attractive she is, and the fact that I haven't been able to play around since we left the castle two months ago. Before I find clothing that would fit her, I find the magic amulet that is leading us to the one that can help us. The person from the legend behind the amulet is said to be able to destroy whole armies with just a flick of their wrist. The amulet points in the direction of the warrior, if the wearer is in true need of their guidance, we put it away once the storm made it impossible to see anything. The amulet is red set on a black chain of an unknown substance, and swirling around in circles. I pause and try to grasp what that means when my brothers notice me.
“What are you doing Ryuu,” asks Khidell. I turn to them with a shocked expression, and my brothers rush over while she stays put, relieved to have space, and cautious of us still. I stand up as they gather around me, and notice the amulet. We look at each other with excitement and sadness, this amulet has been in our families’ possession for 500 years, and we never knew about it until Kuro showed it to us. I took it saying I’m the oldest so I should responsible, and we honestly doubted that the legend was true, since the warrior would have to be 500 years old, and immortal creatures all went into hiding once the humans found a way to kill them using dark magic.
