It’s been weeks since Sky last saw the incident but the images of her father wouldn’t get off her mind as she walked away from the home she once knew. Mercy followed Sky to their new home, wherever that would be. The air was cold that night she left her old life behind to find a suitable life for her and Mercy, but she had no idea where she would go. Her mother has no family and her father’s family were heartless and refused to take her and Mercy in.

After walking for several days, Sky finally decides to rest in an alley with shelter. Mercy curled into a ball next to Sky to keep her warm from the harsh cold, since Sky used her blanket as a pillow. A figure watched Sky and Mercy from a distance. Mercy sensed this figure and growled alittle to warn them to not come over there, before laying back down to keep Sky warm.
