"Who's attacking?!" Ada yelled. "Whoever it is I'm gonna rip em' a new one for trashing my room!"
"No one's attacking!" Page yelled back. She chucked the door so it flew a good thirty feet before hitting the earth. She left the bunker and did a slow 360 to take in the complete destruction that lay before her. There was nothing left but smoldering wreckage. The cold, snowy wilderness spread out before them now. Light little flakes of ash began to float downwards. Except for the blast radius and bunker, there was nothing left to show that the base had ever existed.
"What happened?" Ada poked her head out and glanced around.
"Scarlet!" Page grabbed her own head, trying to stop the panic attack that was beginning, "Scarlet happened! It's all her fault!!!"
"What do you mean it's her fault?"
"The melon!" Page screamed. Only later did she realize how ridiculous that sounded. "Scarlet made the bomb that blew up our entire operation! We have no place to go now! All our plans, all our stuff, and everything else is gone!"
"Calm down, we still have the bunker. That’s were all our data is, which means we still have all our plans." Ada took a step towards her teammate but hesitated. All it would take was one distracted swing from a distressed Page, and she could say goodbye to the bunker.
"With what electricity, Ada? The cabin just blew up, we don't have any power!" Page curled into the fetal position.
Ada immediately dashed back down the stairs and started flicking the main power switches. "NO!" She shrieked. Her own panic began to set in.
Scarlet immerged from the bunker, and started dancing in the raining ashes. "Ashes, ashes, we all fall down!" She sang in a delighted voice.
"Do you even have an idea of what you've done!?" Page shouted at the dancing fool. Breathing hard, she ripped a small boulder from the frozen ground and threw it at the forest. The sound of several trees falling in the distance soon followed.
Ada rushed out, holding a small phone like gadget. It appeared to be looking for something, probably internet.
"I can't do this anymore." Page said. "We could have died! She has to go." she pointed at Scarlet.
"Whoa whoa whoa..." Ada looked away from her device, "We can't just dump her somewhere."
"Why not?" Page demanded. "She obviously doesn't care about our safety! And we're villains! We should just leave her here on the mountaintop to freeze to death!"
"Yeah, we're villains, but we do that kind of stuff to heroes, not our own kind." Ada walked closer, pocketing her invention. "Look, it's my fault. I was looking up some advanced pipe bombs and explosive clay online. There's some new methods in bomb making and I wanted to stay ahead of the game. She probably picked up on that. You know she can't help it."
Page hated it, but Ada was right. Scarlet couldn't help it. Day in and day out, massive amounts of information from the four of them flooded into Scarlet's mind. One moment she could be a culinary genius, another, a master carpenter, or even a nuclear physicist. If she has access to the information there was no limit to what she could do. She had a constant barrage of information streaming directly into her brain 247.
"What do we do now then?" Page ran her hands through her hair multiple times to ease herself.
"We move on." A muffled voice came from what looks like an igloo of blankets.
Ada and Page stared at the lump before turning to each other.
"You actually woke the dude up?" Ada whispered.
"Honestly, I don’t care if I did." Page face palmed herself at the lack of concern by the Supreme Leader. Well, she was back at rock bottom again. But maybe rock bottom was where she needed to be to begin building the foundation to her evil plans. Yes, a fresh start. It was only a matter of time before the Society of Cool Criminals would come out on top. Page just hoped she could survive her teammates before that time arrived.
