That was the most horrible piece of news I had ever read, I was down in the dumps for one month. My brothers got over it easily, but my sisterVictoria and I didn’t. We were so sad for months, but any sorrow last forever. Over a year after our parent’s death, Victoria and I were pretty good. The time went so fast and our lives in Turenne were absolutely wonderful. However, reality soon came for us. Two years later another tragedy came. Our uncle’s business was not prospering, and we were having really tough economic problems. My brothers knew that it was because of us. We were many to feed and the business seemed not to be enough to feed us all. So, Albert talked with our uncle telling him that we were all in agreement with leaving the house. It was the right time for us. We didn’t want him to have burden anymore. We were scared, but we left anyway. We took all our clothes and uncle Ralph gave us some money to survive for three days. It was really hard to say goodbye, but it was necessary. Albert said that he had planned to go to Paris because he heard that there were more and more stores and business people and it meant more job opportunities, so we moved to Paris. Hopefully Albert knew a merchant that commuted from Turenne to Paris so we arrived even faster than we thought. That merchant was Francisco, and old man with a big and novel heart and, he didn’t ask for money. He just wanted to have someone to talk when traveling. He said that it was the best day he had in the whole year. When we arrived to Paris, everything looked so different. Paris was more beautiful than I remembered. The buildings touched the sky, the people were more elegant; however, we didn’t think that we were going to adjust well. We were a country family; we were not accustomed to the city life. We were terribly scared but we were together.
The first thing we did in Paris was to look for a hotel, and we did find one ,“The Paradis perdu”, it was very pretty, it had a warm environment and the personal in charge of the hosts were so kind and lovely. We approached the receptionist and asked if he had rooms available, he kindly said “oui messieurs et dames” Albert told him that we didn’t have too much money but if he needed help, we would gladly help to pay what was missing. For he replied: “I will let you know if we need help messieur, and do not worry about the money. Then, he gave us the keys for our rooms. The boys were all in the same room, and Victoria and I were in the next room.
The next morning when we all were awaken, we all left the hotel and started to look for jobs, unfortunately, Jhon my third old brother, Michael my fourth old brother, Victoria and I didn’t succeed but Albert, my oldest brother and my second old brother Sebastian did. They got a job in the same hotel that we were being hosted. Albert and Sebastian were like best friends. They were always supporting each other and always trying to help us. Honestly, I didn’t know why each of them were single, Albert had light blue eyes as our father, straight brown hair, a strong and very athletic body, no because he did exercise but the hard work on the country made him in that way, his skin even though was very light we got this cream tone that make him look very good looking, also he was 1.85 mts tall. On the other hand, Sebastian had green eyes as our mother, straight blonde hair, and the same physical appearance as Albert, but Sebastian has even lighter skin and the same height.
