Outside the massive tent Hemeth and Bronze already waited for Vali, they both had shocked expression on them. Hemeth is looking straight to Vali, and is about to ask her, while Bronze looking up, where the relic ray of light was demonstrated before.

"What was THAT!?" Shout Hemeth.

"A weapon."

"Weapon? That shoots light?"

"Apparently so."

"Who made it?"

"We can talk about it later, now we have a new destination."

"What!? but I'm very curious!! You too aren't you Mr.Bronze!?"

Bronze is still just standing there, stood as if he saw a ghost. His eyes widened, and his expression is shocked, like having a flashback. But then he looked down, while covering his mouth with his right hand, as if he was in deep thought.

"Mr.Bronze? Hello?"

"Huh? Ah yeah right!!"

"You in awe too much Mr.Bronze, can't blame you though, it was really cool."

"Yes haha... very."

Vali started to stare again at Bronze, leaving him more anxious.

"Haha... so what new destination?"

"Level two."

"Huh?"

"Why level two?" Asked Hemeth.

"I need to find certain person. You two don't have to join me if can't."

"What are you talking about? We're comrades! Of course we will go with you."

"I can't." Said Bronze.

"Mr.Bronze? Why?"

"I told you I'm heading down, not up."

"Then this is the part when we goes our separate ways." Said Vali.

"But... Wait!!"

"Sorry Hemeth. But hey, if you back soon I might still here, I'll always at the ranch during eight till twelve."

"Titel?"

"Yup."

"Well that's good then, lets go Hemeth."

"Heh. see you again - miss Liberator."

Vali stopped walking for a bit, then she shows Bronze his black dagger without turning back at him, she waving it for a bit then continued walking."

"Maan, she just can't take a joke at all isn't she?"

"Another came by and is also abnormal, way more abnormal than the subject."

Two hours later, Vali and Hemeth returned to inn, Bronze also there so its kind of awkward between him and Vali, after packing and prepared Vali left the inn immediately, moving so fast as usual. While Hemeth and Bronze were about to leave a woman stopped them.

"Wait!!"

She's the innkeeper, she gave Hemeth a box.

"I had a feeling you wont come back here anytime soon, so please take it as a gift."

"What is it?" asked Hemeth.

"Cookies, make sure to share with Miss Vali too!"

"Thank you ma'am! I will"

"No, thank you! for helping this town."

Hemeth wave at the innkeeper with a smile and leave, while Bronze still behind."

"Is it includes my share?"

The woman smiled at Bronze and replied.

"Who are you?"

"... kind of their new teammates."

"I see... well, here."

"What's this?"

"Charm for luck."

"Ah well, thanks then my lady."

After receiving the charm Bronze goes out, Hemeth has gone quite far when his out. Back at inn the smiling innkeeper is approached by one of his customer he looked old, might be her relatives.

"Charm? I thought it was a failed clay sculpture you just made."

"Shush!! Depend on how you see it, it might be some sort of art!"

"Right..."

 Moments later Bronze catching up with Hemeth, Even though Hemeth quite fast when in a hurry, Hemeth tends to push themselves, since not actually that strong. Perhaps it's because they had to keep up with Vali who has monstrous amount of stamina.

"Yo, Hemeth slow down a bit."

"Eh? oh Mr.Bronze!"

"... you looked like someone who about to pass out."

"Well... Vali isn't the type who likes to wait."

"I don't think there's anyone with that 'type'."

"Yeah, well... I mean she's more impatient than average person."

"I'm pretty much sure everyone who knows her knew that."

"Heheh... right."

"What I don't know she actually has many people called her with many different names eh? Miss, Valiarth, and... Liberator?"

"Uh.. yeah the Gambits called her that since she saved them all during the battle few months ago."

"Well, since you're about to go for level two, it might be better if you hide your identity. You're fighting those... Morgue? right ? Their home is on level two."

"Hmmm... right, I don't know if they know Vali though."

"You could dress her up or something."

"Right i could dress her up... wait what..?"

"And also  dress yourselves too Hemeth, you'll look 'good'."

"Yeah, right. Very funny..."

"Funny heh?"

"I'll miss our conversation and joking around like this Mr.Bronze, It's been fun."

"Well... I'm not really joking about it, if Hemeth and Vali fix their appearance a bit they'll look gorgeous I bet." Thought Bronze. 

"Heheh."

"Oh! before we left.. can I asked for your name...? I know you probably like to be called Mr.Bronze, It's okay if you don't want to tell."

"Thought you'll never ask, It's not a big deal actually. So let's start over then, properly this time."

"I'm Hemeth, Hemeth Kindler! Nice to meet you!"

"...I'm Thomas, nice too meet you, Hemeth."

"Thomas...?"

"I'm an orphan Hemeth, so none."

"Sorry..."

"It's fine, I had family. those who nicknamed themselves like me, is all my family to me."

"I thought you not with them anymore?"

"Yes, but I still think them as one. Anyway, this is a surprise.... you're a kindlers."

"Uhh... yeah, maybe like you Mr.Br-"

"Just 'Tom' is okay."

"Well.. Mr.Tom, I might be just like you. Since me too kind of... separate myself with my family."

"Hoo.... Well, I wont asked, but make sure to be careful during your travel with Vali. I'll still be here for quite some times, there's still things to do here."

"O-okay then Mr. Tom! thank you for your help so far!"

"I don't really help much but, your welcome Hemeth, see you again."

"Well.. the books you gave me is very helpful! There's a lot of things that needs to be learned from it."

"Well, for me the book only raises more questions than answers. But if it got fully translated, it might be understandable."

"It's kinda hard to find someone who can read now and then... let alone translating it."

"How about Vali?"

"Vali?"

"Well you know she's -"

At that moment Hemeth had shocked expression, as if they realized something, something very important. Hemeth shocked quite badly it turned their face pale. Bronze noticed Hemeth, so he stopped what he was about to say.

"Oh.... right... how can I.."

"...I probably shouldn't mention it, sorry."

"It's okay..."

It took quite some times until they start talking again, and as the time passes, they arrived nearby the town entrance."

"We near the town entrance now."

"Yup, I should take my leave here."

"Huh, you don't want to say goodbye to Vali?"

"Nah, we already kind of 'did'."

"I see..."

"Well you can send her a message for me?

"Sure!"

"Thanks."

"Take care! Mr.Tom!"

"... I think Bronze sounded better."

"Yeah.. it felt awkward."

After that Hemeth continues to dash again, leaving Thomas behind. He looked at Hemeth back with a serious face.

"Seriously... Gambits, Morgue, the 'weapon' and now kindler too..? I mean... I know the helmet has kindler symbol on it, but I not expected it to be the real deal. Something is about to happen for sure. But, for now there's things to do... that's right, a lot of 'things' to do..."

At the town entrance Hemeth finally catching up to Vali, she already waiting there while moving back and forth. As usual she still wearing her ragged army outfit, with shirt hidden inside it, and a long ripped army pants. While Hemeth is also wear their usual gears, green long sleeves shirt with pants, and many pads covering it. And of course, their shiny silver helmet with 'fire sigil' on it. 

Hemeth tries not to imagine what will happened if she were put to wait any much longer, her face might turned not to be stoical anymore.

"Vali!"

"...hurry."

"Vali, are you sure just leaving Bronze like that is okay? "

"I'm not leaving him Hemeth, he wanted to leave."

"Well.. that's true but... how about Domy?"

"Domy is at Eimas, too far from here. I'm sure he will get better once we back from level two."

"I guess..."

"Let's go."

"Oh, Bronze told me to send you a message."

"...that is?"

"Well... he said "We will meet again soon, I still want 'it' back, Miss Forth." ... what's he meant by 'it' ?"

Vali who was still preparing the baggage for their journey suddenly stopped moving, it's as if her body suddenly tied with strands of rope all over her. Her stoical expression changed  a bit, into somewhat serious.

"..."

"Vali?"

"Hemeth, did you told Bronze my name?"

"Uh, no... He already knew. I thought you told him."

"..."

"What's the matter?"

"And here I thought that guy might be can be trusted, he blew it away himself like his dull jokes he says all the time." Thought Vali.

"I never told him."

"..."

"Well, It might be a good thing... since he declared himself that he's not someone to be trusted with." She thought again.

"It doesn't matter, we need to go now."

"But-"

"It doesn't matter, Hemeth."

Family name in here means a lot, depends with whom you speaking. Everything could turn upside down real quick depend on the situation, For the better or worse, even life and death situation. And as for Vali, Hemeth finally noticed something about it. But, Hemeth don't have the courage to asked her just yet, watching her with her current expression right now, it's probably the best answer.

Vali lift one of their baggage, it's a small bag with long leather belt, she carried it over her shoulder. Inside, there's toolkit, rations, and empty pouches. While Hemeth carried two another bag, there's big and small one, like Vali, Hemeth carrying the small on their shoulder, but not over it. While the big one is carried behind their back. Inside Hemeth bags is more rations, supplies, medicine, small tent, cooking utensils, spearheads, small knife and clothing.

Vali wanted to lift the big one, but she cant since she has her spear on her back. She can't actually let Hemeth carrying the spear, in case of immediate dangers, she needs to hold on to it. She also carried small pouch on her side, its the"expense" she received from Gambits. She not check the amount they gave to them, by the looks of it, it's not much, but enough.

"... you ready?"

"All set up!"
