Tyler stumbled into his bedroom. It had taken him forever to walk back home. He hadn't realized how far away the hospital had been. Kat being in that car had been a surprise as well. He collapsed onto his bed, his thoughts tangled as they drifted back to the realm his brother had mentioned in that letter. He closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

“Hi!” A small child exclaimed, waving up to Tyler. They say people in your dreams are someone you've seen before throughout your day, but Tyler could've sworn he’d never seen this girl in his life. She had strawberry red hair while wearing a dress seemingly made out of flower petals, with a rose tucked behind her ear. “My name is Rose,” she said, flipping through her notebook. “Your name is Tyler, correct?”
“Uh, yeah,” Tyler stuttered out, confused. “Can you explain where I am?”
“Of course!” The girl exclaimed. “You are in the dream realm, though most of us just call it the realm. You have a brother in here, don't you? I believe he goes by James?”
“Yes!” He exclaimed. Is it that simple to find him again?
“Do you know the rules, then?” She asked, going through the procedure. “You can't tell him who you are of importance to him, his original name, or his life before he died.”
“I am aware of those rules.”
“Great. I can introduce you to him, he won't recognize you. What do you want your name to be while you are here?”
“I have to change my name?”
“Yes, it's mandatory. Identification safety and all that.”
“Can I go by Elliot?”
“That works perfectly. Now, I have to first show you your house and then you can get acquainted with your brother.”
“House?”
“While you stay here you get a house. I don't get why that's so difficult for everyone who comes here to understand.” She said, seeming slightly annoyed.
“Sorry,” he replied. “That's really neat, is all.”
“Thank you! However, it was Petunia’s idea.”
“Petunia?”
“One of my sisters. She's quite clever,” the girl replied proudly. “She was also the one that realized while visitors are here, in their world they essentially ‘die’ in order to conserve energy.”
“I'm dead right now?”
“Yeah, but you can wake up whenever you want. It's just a way for your body to conserve energy is all.” She looked annoyed that he didn't seem to know all this already. “Now, if you will follow me, your house is this way.”
He followed her to a medium sized house. “This is it,” Rose said. “Two floors, a gaming room, bedroom, kitchen and living room. I suggest you go in, if you leave the realm before entering your house you’ll end up appearing in some random spot when you decide to come back.”
Tyler, (now Elliot), walked into the house. The bedroom was large with a waterbed at the center. He checked out the game room below, which was stacked with video games. There was a flat screen TV hanging on the side of the wall. There was a computer on a desk as well, and a bunch of arcade games in the back. “This is awesome!” However, he remembered he came here to find his brother. He raced back up the stairs.
“This is incredible! Can I just stay here forever?”
“You can't stay here longer than twenty four hours, or you permanently die. Sorry.” She replied. “But did you want to get introduced to your brother?”
Elliot nodded. “Most definitely,”
“Right this way,” Rose said, seeming to glide out of the room.
