Jacqueline slammed the log book closed and slid it into her satul. She looked around her, scientist everywhere. Even in the small commons area it was too loud. She pulled up the hood of her red jacket and started for her room.
“Jackie!”
“Crap.”
“Jackie, I’ve been looking for you.” A tall human looking robot, skid to a stop beside her.
“What do you want Av3r7?” He was dressed in a blue sweater, black jeans and a pair of tennis shoes.
“You know you can call me Avery, right?” His blue optics stared down at her from behind glasses that Jackie swore were fake.
“Yes, now what do you want, Av3r7?” He frowned at her and scratched his head, messing up his synthetic blonde hair.
“The Doc was looking for you and had me come and find you. Some test are needing to be done.” Avery beamed.
Jackie sighed. “Fine, which doc?”
“It was Dr. Sally Clockwell.”
“Okay.” Avery looked as though he was an anime character that was just hit in the face with a frying pan.
“Really, no fight? No, ‘you’ll never take me alive, Copper’? Nothing?”
“Unlike the other Doctors, Sally is nice.” She left him standing there not knowing what to do. “Are you coming or not.” Jackie glared at him over her shoulder.
“Uh, yeah, wait for me!” After a short walk around the lab, they came to Sally’s room.
